There’s word going around Fonua Blake is backflipping on Cronulla to join another team. Man, I’d pay Stefano to go for AFB to come to us.

It’s no secret we’ve been interested in him for a long time. I think we are probably involved.
I am a bit worried about the litany of excuses in the news article, he seems a bit sensitive.
He could have that Brooksy thing happening where he simply can’t live up to the hype. Then it a question of getting the monkey off his back.
He’s got footy gifts, a lot to give the game if he can get his stuff together.

I actually wouldn’t mind Schuster on an edge. If he can genuinely straighten himself out and work on his discipline in and out of footy my god he would be a dangerous player. There is no doubt on his potential so if we sign him on minimum with a few target clauses I wouldn’t be to opposed to it tbh.
$500K is still overs for a bloke who has spent so much time away from elite football and professional training - a base contract of $250-300K (with strict incentives to maybe earn up to $450K) would be more reasonable.
Manly did give him a handsome pay-out - and for a bloke who was never known for his fitness surely he possesses enough self-awareness to realise he cannot expect a half-million dollar deal after 12 months of touch footy..
And the Illawarra Tigers contingent is not far behind!

AFB has a signed contract with the sharks, cooling off period finished roughly before kick off round 1, Abdo should do his job and have a meeting with all CEO's, if it keeps happening a 1 million dollar fine to both the club and player manager that will very quickly stop it from happening

According to my maths, 7 5/8s is 4.75 (5 divided by 8 = 0.625, x 7 = 4.75). So Galvin, Latu, Douehi and Schuster plus a little bit of Onitoni Large when he is old enough.

1)Brandon smith or shuster both big buys and probably for bargain less than 400k to play 13. clauses in our favour about fitness and behaviour. Both kiwi and may be lured by benji. I’d prefer smith because of experience!
2)We need to go hard for Royce hunt
3)if this blaze rumour is true where does he play? Wing? Ideally we need to buy another back that’s seasoned and will make a difference. I’d be willing to lose one of the juniors (LOBB or Casey) for a run at the top 8 next year.
Few more big buys and we could be on for next year!

Lobb and Casey are hardly juniors.
Both looked pretty out of their depth at first grade...
Willing to give Lobb a few more chances tho...
