So you can’t name a single player and yet you say we should sign 2 average priced players with the same output with the money we have for Stef. You just proved it’s easier said than done. Stefano is starting to learn how to consistently “find his front”. When he does this he wins the ruck and Api and our halves plays on the back of that. Isn’t many Reggies props regularly finding their front at NRL level.

Only one guy Api looks for to crash over from close range off a quick PTB.
 
We need to beat the chooks to show we are on the up , don’t care if it makes Stef stay or leave but it will give him and his manager some thought on our club and team

these are all above us well and truly , he would see what’s coming with Luai and Turuva , plus a few adjustments , well worth staying a tiger for $ 800 k in my opinion , we go close to 8 next year and I also think we still have more wins in us this season

Agree with both, was more talking about the normal around the league. As most ignore it.

If you look at most high price props today they will be rolling out over next 2-3yrs leaving Stefano and others as the next benefactors of a weak pool. Some are going to get some nice pay days regardless of if we think it’s deserving or not.

I think his manager would have already had
dragons , roosters , storm , dogs , raiders all lined up ready to talk money , just a matter of time before he is announced as gone , i think By end next week most likely or end of July max

Why should anyone be paid more for doing what they've been contracted to do. We hire a player to perform the best he can for us we should not need to pay a bonus if he makes the finals. That is what we have contracted him to do in the first place.

Maybe forwards might work on a tackle or other metric. Halfbacks should go nowhere near that. It's a very different "calm" that is needed. Cleary showed this in the GF vs Broncos.
