My kid goes to the local high.
Im going to tell him to try to stop studying ( when he’s off his digital devices) and go down the park and practice his goalkicking.
He’s a Penrith smug supporter, yes friends, I’ve failed him badly.
Great shame brought on the family.

There’s been a few players on the gear and a couple of pms kids over the years.
Never understood it from a players point of view especially. You’d think an addiction of any kind of toxic junk is going to harm performance.
The footy players I’ve actually met, they are taking pretty good care of their bodies, one of the tools of their trade.
I still hear about the recreational drug use and it’s across club lines, especially after the season ends.
Nado was on his own highway to hell. The panther culture wasn’t great at the time, I think that’s well documented.
I had a friend in the industry I work in, did the gear, started hitting it hard and simply died in his sleep one night.
They don’t listen and the excuses roll out.
Shout out to anyone here dealing with a friend or rellie on the drugs or bad alcohol issues. We have your back, all power to you.

But he’s such an enigma, even we might fail to crack him!!
We just have pray the curse doesn’t hit him as badly as everyone else we’ve signed.
He’s got no idea what he’s in stepping into, but he will breathe in our love and respect for stepping up.

I like Bunty, when he’s on especially.
I remember Mannering, geez he was a player. I caught up with Mark Hughes ( bulldogs recruiter) a couple of times and he was very keen on him. I don’t have the same connections alas.
I’d like to say I have coffee and a round of golf with Benji on Wednesdays, but these days, it would be me pulling out his golf ball out of my shattered windscreen!
Sometimes I work for a few of our beloved sponsors, not the Karen’s who are leaving. I tell my boss to talk up the tigers. They love talking tigers.

As you said yourself Chadley...we need some grunt in the forwards as a priority. The club is probably trying to cover that off first before adding the Alamotis of this world.
