Stefano Utoikamanu #241

The most metres in our pack came from a 27 year old bench player making his 4th NRL appearance.

Our forwards were putrid.

Klemmer 9 runs for 76 metres
Stefano 10 for 86
Fainu 7 for 50
Bateman 14 for 82
Pole 8 for 61
Fainu II 6 for 46
Seyfarth 8 for 58

Hard to make dirty metres when you are walking back with hands on hips

You don't turn your possession and field position into points, your forwards can be forgiven for thinking it's a lost cause.

Aaahh so another excuse to quit... Dog it... Like Stef did
There's NEVER an excuse for that
Show some pride in yiur personal performance and don't look at others and think well he's not playing well so I'm not gunna give a shit

Weak as piss

But the forum had Pole as 14th immortal. Backs are our problem.

There's also the little issue of kicking the ball back to the opponent when they score, i.e. more tackling, less possession, more fatigue, more frustration, less care factor. If you think about it and don't just look at stats, it might make sense.

Maybe. When we had 25 tackles in a row to make it 12-18 and then threw an intercept to their winger, you don’t think that’s a little bit disheartening for a prop who’s busting his arse. I don’t care how bad our forwards are, our backs are not good enough.
He was never busting his arse give it a rest, he has mailed it in 3 weeks in a row now, and has had about 3 good games all year

Dunno what youre on about... Kicking is a basic part of the game
And I rarely look at stats.. There is no stats though for dogging it.. It makes sense

I'll spell it out. When you are shit and concede over 50 you have to kick the ball back to the good team. This makes big men tired because they have to work and run and tackle a lot.

Well he busted his face actually, bet that felt worthwhile after watching their wingers run amok over our backs.
Im just as dissapointed in this team as I possibly can be...the reality is that we are still suffering from the previous garbage CEO and Chairman ...we need to let Richo pull this joint apart and rebuild it in a professional manner from the ground up,I know we have heard it a thousand times REBUILD,REBUILD etc...
I will face anyone anywhere and tell them that Stef is a pillow who needs his arse kicked several times,we may have ordinary backs,we may have youth still learning,we may have a rookie coach placed because he is part of the boys club and a playing superstar..BUT if you are worth anything and want to make a career out of the NRL,you pick up the load and lead by example,it doesnt matter if the backs are useless, you strive to be better and better everytime you step on the field to play the game, thats what you sign a contract for and EARN your pay..
These days the players demand big dollars because they are slightly better than their team mates, however you have to prove your worth against the best, not just your mates..
Im turning 67 in a weeks time and I reckon I would have given my all just to play against the Sharks tonight and would of done a better job than Stef....weak,soft and overated...

That’s all very romantic but a heavy front rower ain’t making a lick of difference when your team is losing individual battles all over the pitch. Was he good tonight, hell no, but that game was not lost in the middle.

I never said it was lost in the middle,"I said Im dissapointed in the whole performance tonight",but my main point is that your hero Stef is a soft, weak overrated pillow that wants big dollars to play the game, yet cant show leadership, pick his mates up and encourage them, but drops balls, misses tackles and sooks because the team is losing and wants out...How about he uses his big body and leads the way for his team mates to follow and sticks to the hard yards that need to be done before he thinks he is Arty Beetson..
Arthur Was a great player back in the 70s and 80s,he copped hidings but never shirked his task,he represented Australia...Stef will be lucky to rep in a KOE cup side the way he is going...

Guys we have a sh’t coach who the players have lost respect for.

It doesn’t matter about how many meters the forwards are making now - it’s the coaches fault.

Any other coach could get better meters out of our forward pack - it’s stacked with internationals and young guns.

Coach is the prob

Busting his arse?
He was the invisible man from minute 1.
I was watching the game thinking after the first 20 minutes that nobody could possibly ever defend Stef or Klemmer on here again.
I log in this morning and here it is.
There's literally no depth they can sink to without their rusted on supporters waving their pretty pink flags for them.
