Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I appreciate all the emotion you are feeling. I’m a 15 year paid up member. Worse, I run three memberships to increase the support. I just say this to demonstrate that I get the emotion.

And here comes the but.

But. How could you be confused that the 5 mins he spends reading and writing back to you helps the club?

Worse, you are implying he is so incompetent that he doesn’t know that what you are saying is an option.

Have you thought for a second that he has much more information than you, has a better football track record than you… is literally the best football administrator that we could have hoped for.

Instead you waste his time so you feel better about doing something. Our ONLY option right now is to back Richardson and give him time.
He said he listens to anyone that gives him their membership number.
With 3 memberships you should hold plenty of power.

He will hear me.

…as I cheer for my incredibly frustrating team.

He will hear me

…as I renew my memberships for 2025

I have more hope and respect for Richardson than I’ve had of any employee of the Tigers in the modern era.

He is decisive. He is clear. He is honest. He is smart.

He is not a miracle worker. He is not infallible. He can’t conjure a new club culture overnight.

IMO he is our single best hope as a club

You have a good heart... sharing is caring.
More like going down under water and trying to reach out and grab the nearest leg in the murky waters.

All I can do is feel the long neck of Benji’s guitar.

He had a great media career, was a model and stuff, zany and comedic, king of the kids, I even think he got knighted in NZ, then he decided to “get serious”

That’s the problem with young people these days, they all want to start at the top.

Hes a bit of a head kicker and a touch dodgy. But that’s what it takes.

Management is the art of persuasion.

But I don’t want anyone else in charge.

He is a GM.

Just man. Ok he is doing a better job then the last crew, but just place your hopes elsewhere.

Parra and Manly have complete disfunction running both of their clubs. Yet they are kicking our arses on the roster. Why?

Training and football environment. The Boardroom and management disasters they are, stay away from the football.. Ok except to fire a coach at the wrong times.

St George too, wouldn't make the changes for Ryles. Was dragged kicking and screaming hiring Flanno, who our board rejected! Anyone seeing mr Gardiner knocking down doors for a head coaching job?

The problem here is the training culture and intensity. Marshall has a far too mellow attitude to training and with one of the best packs we have had in ages has steerd us from 17th -> 16th... Maybe.

Richo will help a little. He got GI to work with Bula, which is awesome. But I don't see Richo changing the training culture without being given a full sledgehammer to redo the club.

The GM isn't that important. Cronulla hired Fitzgibbon Snr to get Craig as coach, while the knights have Danny Budeurus. Anyone know where Slater's dads resume is?

I’m pretty sure we are overdue for another “members update plea for calm.”

Do you actually have anything constructive to contribute? I don’t think I’ve even seen 1 post from you that isn’t related to your obsession with Doueihi. You are truly the most useless poster on this forum.
Does DOUEIHI have anything positive to contribute is the REAL question dunce!!

I'm not paid by the club to suck!!

What I offer is decades of support - objective analysis and an honest critique!

What do you fangirls offer?

I honestly wasn't aware that he is a touch dodgy. That would impact my view tbh.

There is literally nothing more persuasive than integrity. And yes, that includes money. Lots of research demonstrates being able to trust your boss is more important than what you are paid.

At this point, no one knows (not even Benji) who is going to be our long-term lock ... Matamua, Sione Fainu, Kit Laulilii, Faagutu, Galvin, Latu Fainu or someone from external.

My speculator to develop into this role is Bailey Hodges ... this kid has a touch of class, can run, can pass & can tackle 1-on-1. Seen more as a hooker atm but I think could develop into the lock link-role as he develops his body in the gym.

I hope we keep this kid on a T&T contract for next season.

And Benji and co are totally oblivious to this guy ?
But you’re not ! Why has his name not been thrown up before ?

They're not. They would be aware of the strengths and weaknesses of just about everyone in the immediate pathways system.

But you’re not ! Why has his name not been thrown up before ?

It has. He's a good, versatile, young player. He's been in the system for a little while.

Don't take the piss out of someone because you haven't heard of a junior at the club. That's a reflection of your ignorance moreso than the poster's poor selection.
