Yep it’s all about the money these days and how much clubs can drain out of their supporters. Team stripes and colours are the identity of a club and they should be uniform across the board. I have no idea who the hell some teams are when I first start watching a game at times, the colours and strips are always changing and often they look like anything but that club!

Seems to be a waste of time having a home jersey and an away jersey if you don't use them that way.
Why were we wearing the black home jersey against the Sharks at Shark Park last week?
It's not like our orange away jersey was close to the colours of the Sharks jersey that it would of caused any confusion.
I'm sure someone must know the reason for it.

I still think the club is closer to success than people realise.
Just need to toughen up our individual defence (one on one tackles, strength to dominate), get some more creativity (Luai & Latu Fainu) & create more metres in early tackles (Turuva).
After that- it's getting the depth right so that we aren't playing reserve players as starters & children as the #1 back up without being tested.
Utoikamanu's retention or loss can go either way. If we keep him- he's probably the most damaging ball runner we have. If we lose him, it's an opportunity to bring in a harder, more physically dominant player like NAS.
NAS, Hetherington, Horsburgh etc- if we can add one or two guys that teams don't want to run at in the middle, our whole defence improves. I think there are winning pieces in place, with great talent emerging- we just need to plaster over the holes that better teams don't have.
If we are to copy ANY team in trying to build up to competitive- it's the Dolphins. Uncompromising, but limited forwards that don't give an inch. Power & speed out wide to give enough punch to win games.
I wouldn't mind getting Tesi Niu over, with that in mind.

Best thing for our youth is to play along side consistent footballers week in week out. Guys who do the 1 percenters 99.9 percent of the time, to teach them good habits.

Not much room for next year though unless we get some movement on some of the guys who are square pegs in our squad.
I think the key will be put all the focus into signings for November 1 and season 26. We have 11 spots on offer currently. A lot of other clubs have similar space in their roster but maybe not the same cap money available.
Aim for signings a year out, we may get lucky and get some early releases to join the squad next year.
Otherwise our goal for next year should be beefing up our NSW cup team with some journey men similar to porter. Tuitivake, Malpapalangi, Stimson, Parker, Woolford, Hopeate, Clark. Let’s improve our 2nd tier with these guys.
