When has a coach not been held accountable at this club? Ciraldo would have jumped at the opportunity if the systems were in place and the roster was solid - we offered him 5 years. Benji got the job by default, but it comes with a whole lot of downside that would have turned off many.
I get why people question if he has the capabilities, but can't bag him for having the courage to take it on.
Is it courage.... Or Stupidity?
I see what you're saying, But confidence has never been Benjis' issue (Reality, At times - Has)
"We're only 3 wins out of the 8"
The reality is, He'd had no experience - And neither have 2 of his assistants....
There's no one in the game that thought it'd work - He's just lucky he's got plenty of mates...
They'll turn eventually.
If I were asked to Pilot an A380, I wouldn't just give it a 'yeah no worries'....
Despite spending plenty of time on one, His courage to tackle the situation knowing every coach he's had did years of hard work is stupidity.
If he did want to be a coach, He's give himself the worst start possible by strutting straight to the top making a mockery of all the blokes that spend years in the Trenches before taking or getting an opportunity.
It's disrespectful to the role - Even more so juggling a young family along with it.
