OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Wasn’t Madge that coach? then the boys were complaining he’s too tough & that they were getting flogged every week. And again, flog them in the trenches as much as you like but we are currently the youngest & most inexperienced side in the comp & the roster management has been absolutely atrocious. We got 5 kids coming into the top 30 next year coupled with the kids we already have who haven’t even played 50 games yet… the sheer incompetence that was allowed to fester on by the old management was a disgrace & I hate to say it but it’s most likely going to take another 2-3 years to fix.

Most of the 'kids' you're referring to, Were signed off on by the current coach....
As were the likes of To'a, Naden, Fa'atape, the Union wannabe and a few others!!

like I said, Giving out Roster spots and Debut Jerseys like Smarties.....

Like it when people speak logic.

Galvin and Api on the Matty Johns show tonight.

Hopefully they don't bring further embarrassment to the club.

What Sh*ts me is the arrogance of the bloke to go along with it.....
"The last 5 years of my playing career I was pretty much coaching anyway"
Biggest load of lard I've heard...

Heard Ciraldo say in a Chammas interview he went to the Dogs because he wanted a coach in Gus to lean on - Or words to that effect (I don't know everything he said) He's been coaching Lower Grades for 10 years or more...
Brett Morris (Coaching Already) Says his NRL head coach gig is miles in the future.

Wants the Squad to do the hard yards
While he waltzes into the top job without a lick of experience!!
Then hires his 2 best mates that also have zero experience....

I don't doubt Benji has the attributes to be an NRL coach, All he's done in this scenario
- Is kill any genuine career or ambition he may have had...

I just hope we don't keep bending to void him of accountability...
Excellent point you make about Benji being given a short cut to the coaching gig while demanding the players put the hard yards in. Hypocracy in motion.

Only at the top end with Api and Jahream and a few others but lower down the roster the depth becomes very poor, some unplayable in FG.
That’s not a new thing…
Won’t go through the names, but there has been enough upgrades to the squad for the results to be better than they were - and better than they are!!

It's not that so much,
I wonder would he have 'wanted to be a coach' so much if he was to give up his cushy fox job and start out in the lower grades earning his spot in the NRL....

I don't think so
- I don't think he'd have lined up for the gig if not signed for the top spot with almost immediate effect.

100 percent, that's another point to the hypocricy, Benji wouldn't but expects the players to sacrifice and do what's best for the team. If the time ever comes and Benji walking away for someone better to take over is in the best interests of the team, do you think he will, I seriously doubt it.
