A little bit of effort in the 1/2 half, but gee, if I start to look at the "empty" side of the glass, it's enough to drive me to the drink...
At least I'll have the weekend to get over it.

I am still not sure we have any attacking skills, not even in development (which is a greater worry).
Wish we had a few more Seyfarth. (and Api) - the few that are putting in 110%.
I also get the sense Galvin is starting to believe the hype...I know he is young, but you are playing first grade, and the expectations are greater.

I feel like Mulder in the X-files - I want to believe...but..

Enjoy your weekend, everyone.

You said let's be glass 1/2 full tonight then let the negative creep into your post lol. I feel ya, you wanted to be positive but as you wrote it came out negative. That's how we all feel.

11 “bombs” we didn’t contest 1
I didn’t see anything at all positive tonight.
We didn’t turn up from the outset, our experienced players yet again make dumb mistakes that cost us any chance.
When we got into the game we instantly changed our style of play.

A few more Seyfarths? Oh please no, we don’t need more stupid penalties. What we need is real coaching staff before the current lot ruin the young kids.

All Fainu brothers played well. Latu should have started.

Papali’i had one of his best games for us and made me regret he's going.

Galvin had a nice short pass thing going with Seyfarth.

Api played really well when not forced to be a halfback.

Luke had a good game at wing. Ref let Warriors take all night to drag him over the sideline.

Staines made up for a disastrous first half with a much better second half.

We're not supposed to say it, but I reckon Klemmer was missed tonight. Might have stiffened the middle in the first half.

Bloody young team ran out tonight and only one with experience playing in the spine, so we have to be realistic in our expectations.

It wasn't that long ago that the donkeys were doing similarly, so glass is still half full based on WT taking the pain of a development path. Just hoping there is some more size across the board in the next batch.

My glass has a hole in it

Only watched till half time had to go out
A couple of questions;

1/ did we manage a sin bin in the 2nd half

2/. Is it worth me watching?

The donkeys were down and out for all of about 18 months, we’ve been rebuilding with zero upward trajectory for decades, there is no comparison.

Alex Seyfarth.

For a bunch of fans that whine & moan about players not putting in, we still find time to put the boots into Seyfarth, who is probably guilty of trying too hard.

He's not the most talented. He's not the fastest. He does have a dumb play in him.

But geez he puts in. Even getting flogged, he cares.

For mine- he plays for Bateman now. Him & Sam Fainu as your second row. Seyfarth doesn't get bullied.

I'd put up with his dumb plays if I knew he had the back of every guy in the team. Compare him to the guy we are trying to keep on $800k+ per year.

How do we get Ofehangue back? Another guy I can trust will put in.

No comparison. They had Fifita, Ofenhangue, Haas, Carrigan and Tevita coming through. Plus some outstanding backs. Just a matter of a season.
