Beginning of the season i was hoping to see a system in place, young players coming through,
what we have got so far was slightly better than last season but not by much.

This year is a waste on development of the young players, drained fans bank balance.

As pointed out Benji coaching department needs to be blown up and moved on rapidly, and this blame lays at the feet of Richo and Benji. As i said a couple of weeks ago Benji has 5 to 6 games
into next season and if there is no real improvement across the board he will be told to go.
Burgess or Arthurs will be our next coach.

There's not a lot this new management could do with the shit sandwich in which it was handed in regards to the Sheens/Marshall/Rothfield situation. However the HBG approved all this they are still here they are rarely held accountable in the media or even here for stuff like this.
Richo wasn't here last year when the clown show was, theres no way he could undo what was done when walking through the doors on a temporary basis like he did.
But going forward whether Benji likes it or not he needs very experienced assistants around him, if they want to play that game Benji is the head for the media fine but give him a coaching group he's not up to it.
Sure he got Luai and Turuva was most likely down to Api and the younger players seem to want to play for him. But the experienced guys seem to be the ones bucking things. It might be they know he doesn't have a scooby doo, but this still doesnt absolve them of their performances though they have been nothing short of shocking.
In a nut shell we have to resolve this one way or another we can't keep doing what we all can see isn't working just because its what Lee and Pascoe put in place, they're proven imbeciles.

Some form of stability is needed- let a coach implement their style & their roster.

I thought i'd read he'd come out and said he hasn't offered value for what we bought him for a marquee signing. I can't argue with that, also went on to say the club couldn't offer him something longer term after his current deal. So the club allowed him if he could find a longer deal to take it.
Im personally not buying that he didn't want to be here from day dot and couldn't wait to get out of the joint.
Edit i didn't read that was mentioned on tv coverage could have been written elsewhere im not sure.

Burgess will be the guy to replace Benji if he walks and I reckon he would be a real good coach.

How do we back Benji? The only way is to give him a breather as main coach and let a much more experienced coach take charge for the next two seasons. Then hopefully if Benji has taken in what is required of a first grade coach he can take charge of a steady boat.
