It was pre season and Luai saidIn the beginning
They saw him comingMaybe they are just reading the same Facebook posts that you are?
Latu must be a really really good halfback then if luai is playing second fiddleLuai should be stand off next season not half back. That means Latu at 7. Galvin at lock. Tucker and KS are correct.
If Luai is 7, then Galvin 6, and Latu reserve grade.
I’m pretty sure Latu was a running 5/8 growing up, and Luai a half, and doing a bang up job of it when required.Latu must be a really really good halfback then if luai is playing second fiddle
Next in line for the (C)rown 👑From today's Herald
If you think Jerome Luai is having second thoughts about the Tigers switch next season you don’t understand his character. He’s been in touch with Benji Marshall offering words of support in the background. He’s up for the challenge. Anyone who watched Origin will know he stood up under the most intense pressure and was the owner of the moment when he split the Maroons defence and broke the game open. He will have his greatest challenge at the Tigers, but now he’s excited. There’s no question that the role Stephen Crichton has played at the Bulldogs is a blueprint for Luai, and it shows the influence a strong and committed leader and winner can have on a team’s culture.

The only one I think could overtake luai at halfback is sezer or maybe doueihi. The young guns definitely won't. Sullivan won't find a spot in the starting team, Galvin is definitely not a 7 yet, and Fainu is too young to be managing a potential 3peat spoon team regularlyI’m pretty sure Latu was a running 5/8 growing up, and Luai a half, and doing a bang up job of it when required.
I think JL will play where he wants and I’m pretty sure it’s gunna be 7. The rest can fight it out for 5/8, and fit in where required. Personally I reckon Latu 5/8 and Gal centre, lock or 2rf.
Samoa play 2 games in england in early november. If he is fit he will most likely play there. Critta joined Dogs earlier last year than he was told toI'm so excited about Laui coming and this is the reason why..
He IS a winner and won't stop until the team is winning.
He is not in the media setting doubts about coming but stating he is excited for the challenge. Just imagine where he will stand in the game if he comes here and wins a premiership in the next 5 years.
Mark my words he will come here and most likely start earlier then requested and will set the standards from day 1. This is a sliding doors moment, and others will join.
Wow, I always though he was arrogant, but if that's true, I totally misjudged the guy, to be in the background trying to motivate the team your moving to, to keep their chins up just shows he has the attitude and character we have been craving for years. From today's Herald

Over the last few years Luai has been painted a certain way by the gossip boys at fox for rage-bait. Some of his behaviour wasnt perfect but there's probably half the NRL you could say the same thing. The signs were always there he was going to mature into a really strong leader and he has proved that on and off the field this year. In saying that, he needs more cattle around him next year.Champion @liltiger - check out this interview and you'll rethink your opinion about Luai's arrogance.

I agree 💯 can’t wait to see him in a tigers jerseyThis guy is imo the biggest most important signing we have ever made.
Just refreshing for us to finally make a marquee signing who actually wants to play for our jersey and not just come to top up his super.I never doubted he'd still want to come, he wants to be the man he wants to be known as the player that fixes the unfixable. Step out of Cleary's shadow own the team like no half has done in almost 20 yrs, you all heard him say im not Robin i want to be Batman.
If nothing else you have to admire his bravado and confidence, no doubt he's not going to walk in and fix things overnight but he WILL turn us around if we build the team around him.
