So signed with Souths ended up at Roosters. Great.. So much for that system.

Did they verse the Andrew Johns side or Development Squad? Because their Andrew John's squad is where the good up-and-coming under 16's magpie's players play for.Balmain are pretty high on their Matts team for next year, they quietly believe their current 14-16 year olds are better then Wests (dont shoot the messenger). Apparently they beat them in an inner club challenge earlier this year (for guys who hadnt played Matts yet).
What about Cyrus Bloomfield, the Oakhill boy. Surely he'd be into cucumber sandwiches. Not a single Marmaduke Cuthbert or Cecil in the backline, things are changing in Rugby private colleges

In Australia it's a shitshow. Internationally it is very strong... that is Rugby's selling point, particularly with a home world cup coming up. Travel the world and play footy. I imagine thats the pitch to Onitoni Large. I know what you're saying though. If the choice as an 18 year old is to play with the Tahs for nothing or be a top 30 NRL player I couldnt understand why you would choose Rugby.Rugby is on a continued substantial downward trajectory, no idea why any kids who can play both codes would opt for Rugby any more.
The limitation is however that even at the international level you are only talking some 20-30 guys on international salaries. Some good salaries too in Europe and Japan, but then you forego representative fixtures because they won't pick overseas-based players. In Australia it's a shitshow. Big potential in this kid.
I introduce to you all… Pheonix “The Gravedigger” Godinet.
Thing is it won't be quite so easy for him to run over the top of opponents once he starts playing against men

At this stage it looks like he will have a build and playing strengths similar to Briton Niikora or Hudson Young.Thing is it won't be quite so easy for him to run over the top of opponents once he starts playing against men
Agree but at least he runs hard, often those big kids are so used to running over everyone they just go at half paceThing is it won't be quite so easy for him to run over the top of opponents once he starts playing against men
I believe Kaito has some type of connection, however he does the honourable thing and lets the kid do the talking on the footy field.Rello of Pita?
Was going to mention a Briton Nikora likeness. Takes the ball off the ruck at speed which is a rare quality for a forward. At this stage it looks like he will have a build and playing strengths similar to Briton Niikora or Hudson Young.
I will be happy if he’s even close to being as good as either of those two and I’m confident he will get there.
I’m also confident his athleticism and aggressive playing style more than compensates for his lack of size as it does for the good ones at NRL level.
Absolutely, lack of forwards carrying the ball at speed is hurting us badly at NRL level. Was going to mention a Briton Nikora likeness. Takes the ball off the ruck at speed which is a rare quality for a forward.
Remember- he's a kid. He'll get bigger & stronger, so by the time he is looking at pushing into a 1st grade squad, maybe it will be that easy?Thing is it won't be quite so easy for him to run over the top of opponents once he starts playing against men
Not with us.Remember- he's a kid. He'll get bigger & stronger, so by the time he is looking at pushing into a 1st grade squad, maybe it will be that easy?
I hope he carries that into grade, but how many players in the NRL have you seen that skittle players like that on a regular basis? It's just unlikely he will destroy NRL teams in the same way he does in Harold Matthews.Remember- he's a kid.
