The Mitchell Moses to Roosters rumour just doesn’t quite make sense to me. Firstly there’s the fact Politis and Isaac Moses don’t get on and supposedly Politis won’t do business with him.

Secondly the factor that Mitchell Moses will be 32 in 2027 when the move is supposedly due to take place.

Finally there’s the rumour that the Roosters are baulking at paying Walker more than $900K. Considering he is on the rise, much younger, and is the incumbent, why would they take on Moses’s salary of $1.2M for at 32 year old in 2 years time. They won’t get any discount from Parra paying some of his wages if the Eels want to keep him.

Just another Isaac Moses stirring up sh!t play???

I’d be more inclined to discuss the footy with more vigour if

1. We weren’t coming last,
2. If we had any other decent players arriving and
3. Benji promises to practice “coaching” during the off season with his local pre school u7s.
4. If we were giving a few kids a go instead of underachieving holiday makers who obviously don’t want to be here.

And now it seems ordinarily sane people, people I usually admire, are talking up Willie Mason as some kind of grand footy sage.

So If I have to slam a drop kick like Willie Mason who dumps on my club at every opportunity, so be it.

I heard Moses wants to go to the Roosters but the issue there is that Politis absolutely refuses to do business with Isaac Moses. Politis has had issues with Issac dating back to the original Mitch Moses debacle. He gave Isaac a second chance after Teddy went there but has now completely blacklisted him since the Suualii deal to Rugby last year.

I believe Buzz recently mentioned the same. Politis refuses to speak to him at all.

Isaac Moses, while he gets good deals for his clients with his 'tactics', he has now turned a number of clubs against him. If i was a young footballer, I would not even think with signing with him as your options of clubs is drastically reduced. Politis, Ricky and the Broncos have all blacklisted him.

We got absolutely screwed in 2006 and on . The nrl had ample opportunities to crack down severe on the wrestling , and nip it in the bud early on, but chose not to because the 2 biggest adopters early on were the storm , broncos and manly . Those rules don’t change , and I often wonder what may have been. Instead it was wrestle a thons for 10 years .

Politis doesn’t have to deal with his manager. He can go through a third party. Minichello was the third party on the Teddy negotiations. Mitch Moses had a handshake agreement he would join the Roosters at the same time Teddy signed with Raiders and then backflipped. So it would take some convincing to get Politis to sign him. Penrith don’t deal with Isaac either and yet they signed Blaize. If the club wants the player bad enough they don’t care who the manager is.

Pole has 3 months before he goes to market and he won’t be around the joint for 2 of them….

If he goes to market - I think you’ll find he’ll have 6-8 clubs chasing him….
You’ll find there’s more interest in him around the game than there is for Stefano….
That along with him still being under contract is why there’s no noise…
