OK? What did you want to see?

I thought Ngutlik was very good for the ressies yesterday in set starts. Don't know where we can find the stats, but his carries were strong early in sets, hit the line, made post contact metres making at least 10m on most his runs, and found his front for quick play the balls on the majority of those. The maggies dummy halves or the next carry such as Heath Mason benefitted greatly from those runs and allowed them to get a roll on.

I'd go as far to say that without Ngutlik, reserve grade lose yesterday. The same issues with yardage defence were obvious, but the difference was when Wests got the ball back, they were able to get on a roll as well, especially if he took the first or second run.
No complaints with Jimmy.

Played well considering he has been injured for so long.

Good to see em get a win, for once.

The stats should be available to see on the NSWRL website later today.

Faatape is utterly useless in defence too so might as well play the guy who's at least decent in one aspect of the game
BB how many games has Faataape played in the NRL? No doubt he is underdone but he is improving and knows how to score a try. Someone at the club sees something in him as do I. I believe he has the makings of a solid centre.

Stats are up. A few observations from them & highlights video ...

Mason, Naden, Sullivan, Johannssen, Matamua, Sukkar very impressive.
Ngutlik, very good attack stats & amazing play-the-ball speed! That's what we need as @Iron Fist mentioned.
Feledy, missed tackles poor. Defence is halting his progress.
Vaihu & Broederlow, missed tackles poor as well. A couple of Vaihu's bad misses led to tries.
Looked a good team effort despite those with poor D mentioned above.

When Naden and Sullivan apply themselves they are too good for reserve grade and generally have a big enough influence to help their team win the game,
I know their inconsistency would be very irritating as a coach, but it looks like Benji has written them off and not prepared to work with them far too early and unfairly when you consider the many others regularly in our NRL team who seem to get far too many chances without any repercussions for poor performances.
Quite a few of us all agree that Koroni Staggs would be a great signing for us from 2026 onwards, I’m concerned our disregard for so many indigenous players such as Daine Laurie last season, then Naden and Sullivan along with Tumeth and Craig might make other indigenous players concerned about playing for Wests Tigers.

Their cards were marked some time ago, Naden brain dead and Bud can’t tackle.

Don't you think they had ample opportunities to show their ability, and failed.
How long do you persist with "they may get better". The coach is also under pressure to get results but there are limits on how long you wait for improvements. So he sends them to Reggies to hone their skills. Up to them to earn their way back. Show consistent 80 min. efforts.

Nobody on the planet truly believes Solomon Alaimalo has ever shown anything to suggest he’s anywhere near the same quality as a rugby league player as what Brent Naden is and that’s just one example.
