Personally I would have Luke L way above Staines and Lobb, he has a far higher ceiling than those two. Dogshit Douehi should be no where near the side, if he is our starting centre next year we are screwed.

I know its not a popular signing option but I can't help but think Tyrell May will announced as another signing. Don't burn me at the stake but I just have a feeling, seeming a few other Panthers are coming next year. I can also imagine Luai being in Marshall's ear.

Laulili is at worst 4th string out of the wingers you have listed above. Kid has just turned 18.

if we’re serious about climbing the table then Doueihi is nowhere near the starting side. can’t see Porter there either. he doesn’t possess the lateral movement required to defend on an edge in the NRL.

I genuinely think Laulili’i will line up on the left wing next year with Skelly on the right and Turuva at right centre, pending any further signings. still a lot of work to be done.

Skeleton will hopefully bring what we have been missing all year since Tupou got hurt…still incredibly upset he’s leaving us, but skeleton could be a great low risk high reward signing that offers just what Topou can for half the cost

As for Doueihi I’m one of his biggest fans but I think he’s days at centre are over same as fullback. His defence in these positions is just not up to standard, he is too big and not agile enough. I believe this issue could be covered more if he played in the forwards. We lack genuine edge forwards especially if batemen doesn’t return.
Doueihi x fainu would add some serious strike to our second row.

Douehi would have been moved on or retired at the top clubs. Tigers need to be more ruthless. impressed me his first game back and I used to think he might be good around the young blokes for leadership etc but his lack of physicality and effort in defence is the opposite to what we need moving forward. His spot is a waste even at 12 months.

Like you- I think Galvin can be moved to centre, lock or the second row & be effective. He's that kind of player. If it puts our best players on the field- what is to lose? Numbers on their back doesn't stop what they can produce & how they play.

Sezar would be there until Latu earns the spot- & then we are likely stronger still. That's a pretty dangerous backline with guys like Staines, To'a, Doueihi, Fainu, Faataape & youngsters like Lualili'i & Makasini in the wings.

Again- I'll say- we are not THAT far away. Not as far as some might believe.

Improving our discipline will help us take a stride in results as well. We are extremely poor in this regards and it definitely holds us back. Fatigue and sustained pressure probably plays a role in this.
