I have to say that I thought they could and would run us down anytime they wanted to, but they just kept stuffing up their opportunities. The sin bins reminded me of us and I was sure we would blow it even after them. Footy gods on our side tonight - enjoy it as it doesn’t happen often.
If we could just defend who knows!!

With Samuela stopping their other opportunity to run us down through effort when playing out of position.

That was a great effort. We were already making inroads up the middle so the loss of 3 to the bin was a mere distraction. Those fringe forward passes early on would have had us up instead! They were soft up the guts after leading 16-0 and when Api went thru he showed us how to take them on.

Seyfarth was Sirro like.
Steph showed what the Storm will do next year.
Galvin was pretty good.
Latu showed enuff to get us into the 4 next year! With him Luai & Galvin Woo Hoo!
Faataaape was pretty good too.
Mason is getting better.

Yeah, I think the games we do win, we tend to win on effort more than any other factor. We don’t have a magical turbo etc or a marquee coach.

Mason looked impressive. Strikes me as a perfect 14 next year who could cover multiple positions and even play in the middle
