"I love it here. If Tigers want me to stay here, I'd gladly stay, but I'll see about that when the time comes," Pole said.

“(Benji) believes I can be more than I am, that I can be one of the best front-rowers in the game."

Pole counts Utoikamanu as one of the biggest influences on his career.

"We train a lot together, I've picked up on his habits and we're building a good combination," Pole said.

"We do a lot of extras and we focus on details. Everything we do, on the field or in the gym, we always compete against each other and that gets the buzz going.”

I reckon he needs another year of developing his game in NSW Cup before being ready for regular NRL game time.
He will only benefit from having to work hard to get more NRL game time and learning off some experienced high profile forwards.

He needs a senior player to take him under his wing and push him all through pre season , he is young but over weight , loosing weight is tuff and he needs to get tuff or he will not make it , Klemmer would be perfect or even Royce Hunt as his first job with our up and comers

He will , I think the new signings will assist him in his decision , I would say it’s money and terms maybe , but Richo needs to be careful as Pole is from down south , has a house down south and is very good mates with Stef , over a little over what he is worth , he is an absolute keeper x 4 years

Even if he would prefer to stay, why would he sign before he sees what the market will bear. Unless it’s a wild Mad Monday, he is no risk of an injury before November 1
Nothing to gain by signing early, but might squeeze a few extra dollars by holding to November. If I were his agent I would be doing the same thing.

Storm have more than enough props, they would need to move a few to sign him

If you were Richo & have put forward your best & most reasonable offer to Pole without a commitment coming back, would you allow him to test the market early pre-Nov 1 and request he makes a decision by Nov-1?

Pole doesn't have to but if Richo can outline how he'd let him test the market early if Pole does the best by the club with an early decision so the club can plan forward accordingly.

Richo needs to start playing hard ball with these assholes. Give him our best and most reasonable offer, give him a deadline and if there's no commitment, hes told he's 100% gone at the end of contract and we move on. We do not converse with his agent in regards to another contract full stop. Richo talks up wanting committed players. Let's start weeding out the rot.

Klemmer , he has done his job , his defence is great , he still runs hard and has a go , he has experience to help others , 2 solid young props coming on board he will help and he would be happy to play off the bench or start with a young buck coming on , klemmer is a team player also , stop bagging him out he was better than Stef who we all wanted to stay at $ 800k please what a joke

I'm still totally confused at how the club failed to see what the fan base saw. I was hoping Steph would stay and kick on but in the last 12 months there is no way Steph should have been our top forward re-signing priority. That was always Pole. Us fans had been yelling from the rooftops about it for ages. Instead we throw an alleged 800k a year 4 mill deal to Steph. If I'm Pole I'm peeved considering the diffrence in the form between the 2 this year. If we see Steph as an 800k prop then what's Pole 2.5 million.
