Did you know that "Primarily as a centre" does not mean guaranteed starter? Turuva was also signed primarily as a centre.
 
Bird just isn't strong enough to play in the forwards. I think it's a smart play having him in the centres. Puts Doueihi into surplus & he should play KOE along with Faataape next season- coming in as injury replacements for Bird or Olam.

Bird is a good defender (we are BAD defenders on the edge) & an upgrade (at this time) over Faataape, Doueihi & Staines. Skelton & Turuva on the wings, Olam & Bird in the centres. Looks better already.

Dopey had an OUTSTANDING final six games of the season.

3 missed tackles. 73m, 92m, 128m, 146m, 115m & 66m while playing 27, 29, 39, 34, 26 & 24 minutes in order for each game.

It's ok though. We got Royce Hunt.

5 missed tackles. 49m, 76m, 77m, 78m, 58m & 53m while playing 20, 34, 16, 21, 33 & 24 minutes, over the same period of time.

Wonder if this is a Fox replacement if he gets sacked?

Daniel Safiti to the Dolphins is back on.
Played very poor last night.
Apparently confirmed it was his last Knights game.

The Dogs already have Blake Wilson as a ready made replacement for Fox, why do they also need Tuala ?
I’m a Saifiti fan, but he was very ordinary last night. Very Klemmer like, except not as solid defensively as what Klemmer is.

The difference with Bateman is he wants to win. Probably thinks the young guys don't want to work for it enough, and the club isn't instilling that work ethic into them. Just making excuses that they're young? That's where the disconnect is I reckon.

Everyone keeps saying Bateman hates losing and does everything he can to win ?
Actions speak louder than words as it was virtually 2 games in season 2024 where he actually tackled with venom for a large portion of the 80 minutes, the rest of the time he arm grabs with no chance of forcing a turnover. So if he’s so desperate to win, why doesn’t he tackle with venom every game ?
The same with his ball running, it was only a couple of games where he actually run onto the ball with purpose and threatened th break tackles or make a line break. If he’s so desperate to win, why doesn’t he demonstrate this every game ?

Bateman is at the WESTS Tigers on a holiday to boost his superannuation balance. He would be in the grand final for our worst signing since Adam Blair.

I saw a shoplifter get caught at Woolies yesterday though.

She went off her head and started carrying on.

Back in the day, your vanilla shoplifter was more composed, embarrassed and humiliated.

These days it’s woolies fault, staff and other customers.

They led her away, but the scanner lady told me security set her free in the carpark.

I thought she was wearing a panthers shirt, could have been a bulldog supporter.
