the bateman stuff is funny . if he comes out here , stick him in reserve grade , and have him train at lidcombe each week. deny all mid season trips back home . and just performance manage him out , through breach of contract when he inevitably does his own thing.
theres a reason he pisses off home all the time. Enforce hes here on day 1 that hes supposed to be . no more special treatment , no more favours . he will be gone long before we get rid of him .

Hunt replaces Pole, very clear that one is a starter and one a bench prop. Or both bench props. They may both be on the field at the same time occasionally, but more by rotation than by deliberate game plan.

Galvin exceeded my expectations this year.
So long as him and JL are fit and are able to train and play together, I can’t see any scenario where they won’t gel in about 5 seconds. Mainly because Galvin has a lot more to give and he needs players around him who can capitalise
Apart from dragging Peter Wallace over, Andrew Leeds is another gatekeeper of the brutal regime lording over the Panthera. He should be stolen as well while we are partaking of staff. Neither will come quietly, so we will need cash.
I’m assuming we won’t be able to resist spilling some blood in the coaching and related ranks.
But like players, it’s wise to find a better person for the job before you swing the axe. But after such a miserable season, saying our patience has worn paper thin is an understatement.
I was ready to sack every staff member except Richo after spoon bowl, which I imagine is still a traumatic experience for many, otherwise in the sub-conscious, requiring that repressed memory therapy stuff to expel.
But as bad as thing get, cats and dogs remain safe around Death Valley and the eighth wonder.
I don’t know how we will go next year, but pre season is shaping up well so far.

@Tucker s cows pulled up ok today, but I think they’ve played their grand final.
He’d be better served having pre season breakfast porridge with us than following those lucky two headed boofs through the finals.

Once he got that haircut, things started going badly for him.
The other club hero to resurrect would be young Ronnie.
We could at least give him a position watching the turnstiles click over and/or frisking persons of interest.
He’s such a nice bloke, he’d accidentally wish a snarling embittered terrorist scumbag a good day.
Sacking him was a lousy look and I reckon it didn’t help our game one iota.
I miss his videos about health and the happy life. Always best to watch chugging a beer, having a choker, crashed out on the lounge.

Insist he's here for day 1 of preseason. Everyday he's late is a breach notice on day 3 it's termination. We're paying 600k a year he can well afford to fly some family out here for a vacation.

Agree. However, who knows what silly clauses Senile Sheens and Pascoe put in his contract to allow him to holiday whenever he wants.
We moved on Hastings at his request so I’m sure there is other crap we agreed to.

I think he has clauses written into his contract agreeing to all these breaks.
Perhaps the best we can hope for is another loan at the back end of next year. I doubt he magically plays himself back into form.

I missed voting in the nsw local council elections yesterday.
I am officially a fugitive from the NSW electoral commission.
I’m going to blame the Wests Tigers, send in a certified copy of my membership.
Ask Craig Young for a reference, he doesn’t check these things too closely.

Did you know that "Primarily as a centre" does not mean guaranteed starter? Turuva was also signed primarily as a centre.

Bird just isn't strong enough to play in the forwards. I think it's a smart play having him in the centres. Puts Doueihi into surplus & he should play KOE along with Faataape next season- coming in as injury replacements for Bird or Olam.
Bird is a good defender (we are BAD defenders on the edge) & an upgrade (at this time) over Faataape, Doueihi & Staines. Skelton & Turuva on the wings, Olam & Bird in the centres. Looks better already.

Dopey had an OUTSTANDING final six games of the season.
3 missed tackles. 73m, 92m, 128m, 146m, 115m & 66m while playing 27, 29, 39, 34, 26 & 24 minutes in order for each game.
It's ok though. We got Royce Hunt.
5 missed tackles. 49m, 76m, 77m, 78m, 58m & 53m while playing 20, 34, 16, 21, 33 & 24 minutes, over the same period of time.
