You won't get a bigger advocate of signing forwards who are more functional than flashy than me- but I think Pole is a very talented player who shouldn't destroy our salary cap for at least another couple of seasons. It would be disappointing to lose him as well.

But, as has been pointed out, his defence is pretty ordinary.

Clubs must have 24 top 30 players by 5pm November 1. By Monday of Round 1 they must have 28 players in the top 30. 30 by 30 June (no mid season transfers after that).
