I know he’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I did like how Brandon Smith stuck up for Tigers stance on the 5 players returning not in the best shape. I would love Brandon at the club.. a real competitor on the field with some mongrel. Wonder if his support was a signal that he would be interested coming to the Tigers if asked? Or maybe just wishful thinking on my part

He'd have to accept a lot less coin, maybe if the Roosters paid a good chunk of change to take him for 2025??

We have way to many good young hookers coming through, it won’t happen. On this area we are spoilt for choice. We need fast outside backs and better bsckrowers.

For the good of his career and probably beyond it, Brandon would be smart to move out of Sydney. If the roosters can’t keep him on a leash then we’re no chance
 
If I could pick our side for next year with two more players recruited this would be it

Bula
Staines
Olam
Turuva. ( there because , I believe he was promised a shot at centre )
Skelton
Galvin
Luai
Lodge
Api
May
Bateman
Samual
Pole

Bird
Hunt
Seyfarth
Fainu
If turuva doesn’t work out he replaced Staines , and young fainu goes in the centres , he then can replace api when he needs a rest and bird to the centres

I mean… was it ever not going to leak? I’m sure the WT know by now that anything that happens goes straight from player to player managers and then onto the media …

I had some hopes that this might have been a way to force out some of the under performers, but I now doubt anything is going to come from this other than players hopefully knuckling down and training hard the rest of the preseason… which is better than nothing …

Maybe one of the breaches might leak, but 5 of them and knowledge that 2 are fronting up to the board? That's a lot more detail than the players should know.

I’m sure it’s no secret amongst the player group who the players are ? If news of one player leaks then why not all 5?

not sure about the fronting up to the board part … is this part confirmed ? We know the media likes to add a bit of GST to WT stories …

My thoughts are that this breach notice for being overweight probably happens more often then we typically hear … the only reason it’s a story this time is a chance to put the boot into Wests Tigers for clicks and views …

Supposedly Read knows who the players are … I wonder why he hasn’t named them ?

Seyfarth in for Bateman , Klemmer replaces Bateman on bench as I don’t think he plays at tigers in 25

Richo probably called him and said you drop the names , you are barred from all things Wests Tigers , and il make a point you can’t be trusted
