I have confidence too that he will act quickly and without sentiment if need be in respect of the coach … he is on the clock as well in some ways and he will pull every lever he can to improve the team which includes the coaching lever

He’s said unequivocally it’s a three year plan, I’d say another spoon this year would lead him to believe a change might be needed, but I dont see that happening myself.

Three year plan to get to the top right? not just avoiding the spoon … that is too low for Richo … worse than 10 wins which will get you around 10th-12th is the minimum to keep Benji around …Richo doesn’t have the time for small improvements

Top four in 2026 is the stated aim.

Yeah I’d say 9 wins plus is probably around what we can expect this year.

It would certainly be great and not impossible but I think depth is going to hurt us in the back half of the year. A good run around origin might be enough.

His legacy is already written. 4 consecutive premierships. Nothing is going to destroy that. And honestly, if his stint here goes belly up, who is going to portray him as the bad guy? It will be our supporters, in the same vain as Cleary when he walked out. The rest of the RL world won’t care. They’ll see it as a player that’s way too good for the club coming to his senses.

what have i made up Hank 😂…

You know … Lee and Pascoe been gone a year now… and I was one of their biggest haters and celebrated big time when they moved on … but I think the time has come that we stop blaming them for stuff happening since their departure

And disregard the fact that they left a steaming pile to their predecessors?
 
I’m not a fan of clauses but one thing it does do is sure up the team for 2years
We don’t have to worry about blooding a half to steer the team around
All options we had would of taken time to gel and needed top line forwards to be effective

Bud - suck it and see option
Latu- potential
Galvin- proven to be a starter but I expect would struggle to lead the team around
Sezer- experienced but as we’ve seen unable to drag us off the bottom
