The whole thing stinks and makes me feel sad, as both a footy follower, but more importantly as a human being.
This country is deteriorating due to the disgraceful setting and judging of laws, at all levels, right down to teenagers running wild.
Please send us a person of substance to lead and address these issues before it is too late and anarchy rules.
Let’s hope the NRL
Show more spine than this Judge
and inflict a penalty more adequate for the crime.
This is an opportunity to show the players what type of behaviour is acceptable and if they break the rules they will be punished more than an $850 fine.

This is a disgrace of the highest order , the judge on this case needs removing but so do the coppers , they could have charge him for more offences but after days and days decided not to , Fkkk me this is poor , guy gets called a name and the player who did it got punished heaps , this low life grub gets away with it , I said Broncos backed him as they knew he would get stuff all , Peter V. Show some balls and fix this up and use him as a guide to the next idiot who does the same thing but maybe kills someone , NRL Ban 6 months min ,

I just got a 540.00 fine for a red light camera offence. I rang to try and get a warning as my last offence was 2002 and the only other was in 1973. They said red light offences could not be downgraded to a warning.
This is a total joke the kid should be doing 12 months community service at very least plus a years loss of licence

He was driving with no licence so he should get couple years for that
He was driving whilst affected by illegal drugs in system , 2 more years
He was driving and lost control of motor vehicle causing injury to 3 people whilst on drugs and unlicensed , 3 - 6 month Jail
NRL Ban. 12 months total ban , no play no train , get a job .
Peter V where are you , fix this so we can see you just don’t ban name callers on big bans but drug affected unlicensed menace to the public get the same

Going by what I heard on the radio, I believe the magistrate said something along the lines of him being lucky that no one got hurt.
I thought the little girl broke her leg or something like that, must not have been important because it wasn't a season ending injury. 🤣

20 years ago, that sort of punishment was the norm. You only get a slap on the wrist these days.
