We actually invited her on the pod earlier in the year to discuss the implementation of the recommendations and heard crickets back from her. I don't care if it is to us but she needs to lift her head and actually discuss what her goal is here because what I have heard isn't good.

Julie Is a sneaky one , she will not come out with her agenda as non will want to hear it , her and Dennis need to be removed asap and probably again it will be the Wests Tigers Faithful who instigate it just like the review. Today we are taking the first step into launching action to change the governance of the majority shareholder of the Wests Tigers, the Holman Barnes Group (HBG).

This action commenced after the HBG board (controlled by Magpies die-hards Julie Romero and Dennis Burgess) dragged its feet over introducing and adopting the full recommendations from the external review into the governance of the Wests Tigers.

We fought so hard for that review in 2023 and it only came about because everyone supported the petition.

This time, we intend to make our action much bigger and louder than the...

I believe there should be separation between boards of the ownership group and the boards of the Wests Tigers.

It is a very different skill set required to run a modern professional sporting organisation compared to a leagues club. So I believe that the ownership group should set up a board that will run their asset for them and allow that asset to be successful both on and off the football field.

The current infighting of the board of the HBG, shows that board times be a dysfunctional rabble that has been damaging the Wests Tigers brand.

These changes were unanimously accepted by the ownership groups 12 months ago and should be enacted as soon as possible.

Because they are not supportive of the best interests of the Wests Tigers, I am not supportive of the future of this club being decided by people who have paid $100 for that privilege.

I still like your suggestion @magpies forever, ahh sorry I've changed my mind, I don't like it,
I LOVE IT, but no one else seems to even like the idea 🥹.

We could change our colours to something much more appealing and make a fresh new start with a much more appealing name such as the Western Sydney Bushrangers.
I'd definitely even go along with KOE being the Bushrangers or whatever.

I reckon this move would solve a lot of problems as NO ONE would be hanging on to their old allegiance as in colours not being black and white of the once MIghty Magpies or black and orange of Balmain or even the combined colours of black, white and orange of Wests Tigers.
Admittedly the board would have to be improved, but as the Magpies own 90% of the club, they should Imo still be entitled to have a controlling say, which I feel is only fair anyway.

Wests Tigers has 25 years of history in its own right. Only a very small minority of today's members/fans are holding onto Wests Magpies or Balmain Tigers allegiance. It is good that there is heritage of two historic clubs for the WT, regardless of politics.

Whether fans call the team Wests or Tigers or play in predominantly black or predominantly orange, they are the Wests Tigers.

The name Wests is huge for the NRL to represent the huge region from the Inner West out to Macarthur and the Tigers would be one of the most popular in any sporting franchise.

So there will be no name change!

Probably should move the team out of Sydney as well. As there are too many teams in Western Sydney already. Maybe Perth.

Can you or anybody give me a reasonable, realistic and fair reason why Wests Magpies shouldn't have controlling power, as they own 90% of WTs.

Firstly, only fools want the return of Balmain. The fact that Richo has said his name DOES NOT MEAN he is supportive of his stance. What it probably means is he is leveraging Anthonys connections - which is just smart business.

Secondly, how would that even happen? HBG is the majority share. Unless they give that up and stop funding, which wouldn't even be the case in the new structure, how the heck will any of this drama come to fruition? Even after that, the NRL would stop it too.

How do you actually know this, and can you provide the 'evidence' that supports this?
But then you go on to try and explain Richo's words by saying "what it probably means" which means you don't actually know do you.
So why are you trying to make an excuse or maybe even cover up for Richo in this matter when you don't know.
