What irritates me is that Romero hides away through all of this. She has had ample opportunity to put her side of the story out there either to media or HBG members. It just creates distrust & suspicion. And a couple of quotes in a HBG statement doesn't cut it.

Stand up and be counted Julie, your the bloody chair, show some leadership. I know you or your cabal read this.

We actually invited her on the pod earlier in the year to discuss the implementation of the recommendations and heard crickets back from her. I don't care if it is to us but she needs to lift her head and actually discuss what her goal is here because what I have heard isn't good.

Julie Is a sneaky one , she will not come out with her agenda as non will want to hear it , her and Dennis need to be removed asap and probably again it will be the Wests Tigers Faithful who instigate it just like the review. If people didn’t stand up Justin and Lee would still be hear , Jesus nuff said

OFFICIAL Thread 'Wests Tigers Unite: Call to Arms'

Today we are taking the first step into launching action to change the governance of the majority shareholder of the Wests Tigers, the Holman Barnes Group (HBG).

This action commenced after the HBG board (controlled by Magpies die-hards Julie Romero and Dennis Burgess) dragged its feet over introducing and adopting the full recommendations from the external review into the governance of the Wests Tigers.

We fought so hard for that review in 2023 and it only came about because everyone supported the petition.

This time, we intend to make our action much bigger and louder than the...

Because they are not supportive of the best interests of the Wests Tigers, I am not supportive of the future of this club being decided by people who have paid $100 for that privilege.

I am an owner of this club and I demand better.

Wests Tigers has 25 years of history in its own right. Only a very small minority of today's members/fans are holding onto Wests Magpies or Balmain Tigers allegiance. It is good that there is heritage of two historic clubs for the WT, regardless of politics.

Whether fans call the team Wests or Tigers or play in predominantly black or predominantly orange, they are the Wests Tigers.

The name Wests is huge for the NRL to represent the huge region from the Inner West out to Macarthur and the Tigers would be one of the most popular in any sporting franchise.

So there will be no name change!
