Woods is a good player, but hardly the second coming! He’s young like large, could go great but could also buckle. Who knows, just having a punt really. Like Makaski for us, nobody really knows if they’ll make it! Just educated guesses.

He would pass the test because like many compulsive liars he wouldn't know what the truth was if it bit him.

If we selected our NRL team by their training efforts then Alex Lobb would have been captain last year. Lachlan Galvin would be VC. By all accounts Naden had some great games in Cup last year and that is where he should stay. Bradman Best gave him an absolute BATH in NRL last year. I was actually embarrased. Worst game by a centre since Steve Mavin. Nothing at all against the guy but he must be looking for a payday next year.

Who’s rated higher Saunders formerly eels now raiders , or woods ?

Both are big talents & should have long NRL careers but seeing some of Woods rep games I think he is a freak & the better prospect. I disagree with @lathami, there are definitely players you can see are going to be special & destined for first grade, Woods is 1 of them

Lobb didn't get much of a look in last season poor game I seen he was carrying an injury and should of been replaced

Lamb meant it just like Rod Reddy did when he was penalised 5 times for violent play in the first half of the 1977 GF against Parramatta. The belief was back then that it was almost impossible to get sent off in a GF. In truth Lamb became a little thug after he left Wests.

But he isn't being paid as an elite front rower. There's been half a dozen front rowers mentioned here who are reportedly at or above $1M. He is being paid a salary that would be consistent with a player a tier below that. If he is/isn't or will/won't reach that level can be debated but I don't think it is a ridiculous salary by any means.

We need all our players to be hungry if Naden clicks that’s a good thing and if he needs a contract year as an incentive just give him 1yr deals.
