Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

No intel but Olam appears in this pic Bula posted yesterday. Players seem to be given access to photos from that week's training by the club's digi content dept. Mason posted a few yesterday too.

Saw him myself on Tuesday at training, he’s a dead duck! Shot, knees packed it in. Even worse Toa had hands like feet, dropped nearly every ball that came his way!
Don’t rate him l, we need the other May brother, desperately.
With Olam out, I’ve got Faatape or naden to go with Doueihi. I see a lot of upside in Faatape l, hess as ps more than Toa!

I love the Seyfarth signing(guessing he was low balled).Baby Giraffe is all grown up now and playing for his family. The TDS talk is rubbish,JMK just resigned X2 at Redcliffe ,knocked back Wayne to Souths. Ciraldo ain t worth squat if he cant pull Mahoney's head in,And Mohoney ain t worth squat if he doesnt knuckle down and play like he did at Parra
I like the Seyfarth signing, particularly as were just missing so much at the front.

He has the body to improve, he puts in... Plus were just missing so much up front with MR 16 minutes and Papalii gone.

While Maloney may not be at Parra Grand Final form, I note The bulldogs came 6th and Maloney seemed to be doing a decent job. If Canterbury want to punt him, sure, whatever, dogs you do you.... IMHO total madness. I reckon though they would be looking at the Cheese not TDS. Da Silva is a little surplus here and I am sure teams are looking at him, but he hasn't proven to much on the field. Hope he stays and learns some Api goodness, but if he goes, Latu could step in. ....

Now that I think about it. Lachlan Galvin appears to have the fitness and conditioning of a 9. If he did a year of MMA like say Damien Cook did he would be devistating.

Give him the Christian Welch medical payout.

Sign Taylan May and another good centre.

Which Eels forwards would you like in our side ?
Hopgood and maybe Jack Williams are the only ones I would want from them.
Most of them.
Paulo: better than all our props except possibly May.
Hopgood, Matto (though I wouldn't actually want him back) and JOffa better lock options than any of ours and the latter two better props than our bench options.
Cartwright, Lane, Tuilagi, Guymer would all get a start in our backrow or on our bench.

Maybe 2 years ago, not now.
Most of these players you have mentioned are now on the wrong side of 30 and played like battle weary old men last season.
Tuilagi runs the ball well, but has an error or two in him every game and is a suspect defender. Guymer shows potential, but he wouldn’t be starting for us.
If your opinion is correct, the Eels should beat us by 50 next week.

I swear some folks here are only Virtual Footy Fans!!

It's not like the Warriors scored 5 Tries in the first 25 minutes
(Entire length of Storms starting Props first stint)

Bit hard to make metres without the ball.
So they ran straight through his defence as well?

No. 24 tackles 0 misses 2 ineffective. Storm were rubbish (hardly surprising given they named like 3 first graders) but Utoikamanu was decent. Just nothing one bloke can do in a team getting belted. He did seem to try but, not sure I could have said that at the back end of last year when he was in the same position.
