I reckon If Romey says he doesn't know what side Sam F is playing then that is just a pre-season smokescreen. We all saw Galvin play right on the weekend and he went OK, if a tad too controlling at times.
If we haven’t got combos going yet we are in trouble , it takes weeks to get combos clicking , no way Benji start working them out this week. These guys would be doing it at training now for weeks , if not we will be a mess first 6 rounds , won’t happen , Luai just not giving to much away I feel ,

I think it’s a poor attempt to throw opposition teams off the scent.
Based on what we saw dished up on Sunday there hasn't been much work done on combinations; if there has it was sadly missing. They have all been training together and I expect that what has been named is the likely positions. Perhaps poorly described but I expect that the focus has been on building the foundations running Luai, Galvin, Latu and ? (Naden/Douhie) with a multitude of edge partners to develop the next man up system. So sure there has been work done - but I expect the focus is on getting the structures right before focussing on the detail leading into Round 1.
As the right side of the field is the toughest to defend on and as Luai is playing on the left in attack, it stands to reason that Sam, our best edge runner will be on the left as well.

What’s wrong with our medical team , olam should be recovered from his knees by now , and turuva had his operation 3-4 weeks ago , yet there saying he will not be fit to play in two weeks time . A English soccer player had his appendix remove and played two weeks later , AND yes it’s a different sport but they still have to cover lots more klms and get knocked about a bit
Beginning to think Olam's knees can't be fixed completely and will have to be managed from now on, Turuva if they burst can take a lot longer this appears to be the case it's frustrating I know but from past history following the tigers there is always something never smooth sailing.
Vossy has been saying for the last 2 weeks, that it's actually Bula who had the appendix operation. He said he visited the Tigers a couple of weeks back and was told Bula struggled with pain during the boot camp and didn't want to report it in fear of looking weak.
