Agree but in a comp game not a trial , club could have done a special to kick off a good thing with supporters $ 20 adult , kids under12 free or similar , pie and a coke $ 5 just one night to get things going , but Richo is money hungry and I get it but for $ 45. That’s over the top

I bought a Family ticket for tonight at $140 on the Hill and then they release kids under 15 are free with a paying adult which cost me $50 more now. We do not tend to look after the supporters who have put up with years of poor results.

Anyway hope we can win and get no injuries

He wasnt just here as a mentor, that is a side effect of his experience. He is a leader, plays nearly every game, makes his tackles and meters.
You make out he was absolutely useless.
Who is going to lead the pack? Api tried last year and failed....miserably.
What happens when all these young blokes hit the winter wall? When the excitement of being a fulltime NRl player wears off and reality sets in?
Who motivates them when they cop a few injuries and go on another big losing run?
What about morale? Forward packs are tight knit. They knew Stef and Papa were going, but Bateman and Klemmer going as well? Thats not great for confidence.
Without a tough, durable pack who are led and prepared well, Luai and co might as well be pissing into the wind.

I dont get all the hate for Klemmer, sure hes not at his Origin levels, but he never seemed to shirk the hard work and looked like he was putting in.

I think the issue is the baggage Klem brings with him, similarly players like Blair, Talau, Brooks, Bateman, Moses, Tedesco, Bulla, Galvin, nothing wrong with any of those. I would be happy to have all of them in the team. But at what cost?
Sheens appeared to be one of the few who knew how to handle their agent’s tactics. His methods must be so invasive it can put the coach off his game.
Players seem to become less enthusiastic and recalcitrant during negotiations?
Would not surprise me if that’s what caused Benji’s flare up with Bateman?

Geez they took notice of him didn’t they Tucks?! Real responsive to his leadership. And it worked when we brought in Tamou, Matulino and all the others.

Hang on. I just had another insatiable idea that only Tito could come up with. You should take Klems role - you’re a former elite sportsman. I too have played and coached many NBA and NFL teams to championship glory. Yes I think we went 20 seasons in a row actually in Madden. There’s no stopping Tito. Self Arriba!

What do you reckon? Should we put you down for a good $300k to be in the sheds? Where some merch? Ask the boys if they’re ok? Share some stories of yesteryear? You know mentor the guys. If you can’t survive being a rookie in first grade you shouldn’t be playing.

Which is why we should be happy we’re making moves to improve it. The quality of recruitment has improved remarkably since Richo joined us, fans just need to have faith that that continues.

Way too much moneyball!

This is too much change. It's what people don't get about change, you do it gradually and you don't kill your business doing it.

Loosing Bateman, Klemmer, Paps and Stefano in the one year ruins us. It's like 2022 again, we hit 17th and get outmuscled every game.
