Just got to close this out now and keep them under 250

We make it too easy for tailenders to get singles to get off strike. Short stuff on the hip then the other guy hits a six. No brains some of these guys.
Should never had conceded so many. Poor bowling discipline, poor fielding.

These Big Bash guys are getting bashed
8-235 is now all out 273 last 2 wickets in the 50th over
Can we chase 274 ?
Should do but can't afford Head and Smith to fail again like they did against

I think this wicket was doing a bit early but Afghanistan batting was not great and the fact that they got 273 tells me our bowling was very mediocre
Short 7 overs 0-21 was a bonus .Maxwell bowled well .Zampa was poor so many balls overpitched .
The 3 seamers were erratic and did not close it out well
Saw George Bailey watching with his head in his hands must have been thinking why I picked Big Bash stars to play ODI 's as its a totally different game .Maybe pick the best of our Sheild bowlers
To our big 3 Pat ,Mitch and Josh hope you are enjoying your R&R

Tonight's final Champions Trophy game between India and NZ has no bearing on who is in the top 4 but significant to Australia as we finished 2nd in our group and as such we play the winner of group A
If India win we need to get on a plane to Dubai for the semi
Personally I think its a disgrace that the BCCI have so much power that they dictate these things .I thought the ICC run international cricket but it seems that they report to the "real " boss the BCCI !

Don't know what's worse to be honest .....the MCC running the game or the BCCI
I think he’s inexperienced. He bowls 3 or 4 nice balls an over and a couple of duds. His slower balls are good. As I said last night it gave me the Brad Pitts when he bowled a hip height leg side bouncer to the number 10 so he get a single and then next ball the set guy hits a six.
Further to this venue Fiasco the entire Australian squad flew to Dubai today to get some practise on the Dubai wicket and if India win this group A clash they can stay there but if NZ win they have to immediately fly back to Lahore for Wednesday semi . India simply play all their matches in Dubai so are very experienced on that wicket
So If India win their Semi then the final of this so called Pakistan's Champions trophy will also be in Dubai
Rediculous !
