Normally I would agree with this thinking but our cupboard is so bare of backrowers that someone like that is necessary to have a successful season.I hope that the club is no longer looking at way past their prime players as options. For mine "short term" means a temporary fix, and footy wise that is no longer than a season, which is the only basis that I think an aged Frizzel type comes into consideration at a supposed development club.
Well, 10 years apparently. Not any time soon he won't.
Not before we get a replacement of worth I hope. I don’t want to start the season one prop short. What would be the point? When is Klem joining The Dragqueens?
It always amazes me how people don't understand how a forum operates...even more so, that they feel the need to chastise those who are using it as intended - a sharing of ideas and a discussion of issues.Cmon now guys, Lachie this, Lachie that … romey can’t run a game… FFS get ya membership paid, buy a jersey, cap, necklace whatever get around the team, wests tigers 25 baby! Be positive. Let’s get it !
Lol... Spot on.It always amazes me how people don't understand how a forum operates...even more so, that they feel the need to chastise those who are using it as intended - a sharing of ideas and a discussion of issues.
The sycophantic circle jerking begins when the team starts winning. Maybe come back then?
I'm hoping he isn't even named in reggies ,keep him injury free. That would signal the paperwork is just about doneAnyone think he's selected for Round 1 vs Noughts?
I'd be very surprised unless we suddenly had a couple of injuries.
Maybe so but the club that offers that is just exposing itself to disaster, there is so many things that could go south with a deal like that, look at Jason Taumalolo for instance.Galvin will get a $20m dollar offer over ten years. Mark my words.
I understand you’re a really big fan of Galvin but you needa calm down on the overhyping of this kid… he’s played one seasonGalvin will get a $20m dollar offer over ten years. Mark my words.

All that might be true, but just as easily refuted when you look at what happened with Mitch Moses. Mitch's father was a Parra fan and Parra also cut him because he was too small.Have to disagree with this reasoning. Throughout my childhood I was a crazy fan and it was my dream to play for this club I'd supported when I grew up.
Admittedly, I ended up at the club I came through the juniors, but my experience was basically at 16 my boyhood club was just another opposing team.
As far as family goes, there may be good natured barbs when you are playing their/your old supported club, but it becomes completely irrelevant; their support for their son (and as a result his team) is light years ahead of any their own son plays for regardless...
Watch any interview with a parent who has two sons on opposing teams. They'll never say they're going for one particular side.
As for Galvin, well, yes it's his career, but by the same token Parra didn't see anything in him where the tigers did. If not for WT it's possible he wouldn't be playing nrl. They've been pretty good to him and he is where he is because of them.
Would be disappointing to see him leave before really repaying the faith (with at least 3 good seasons), but again, it's his career and unfortunately he has that idiot Moses as manager.

What makes these players forgive and forget the rejection shown by their previous clubs, money, money changes everything. All that might be true, but just as easily refuted when you look at what happened with Mitch Moses. This is one of the more wild takes I've read on here. I actually can't believe anyone in the top couple pay brackets of the NRL wouldn't take less to chase success. We were told Teddy went to East for less money,
Does anyone really believe that was the truth.
Cause I'm one of many that can't believe anyone that is mentally sound would throw all that money away to possibly win a ring worth $20k.

Yep. They have a short career. They don't have the luxury to hold those grudges. What makes these players forgive and forget the rejection shown by their previous clubs, money, money changes everything.
Munster literally just did exactly that. This is one of the more wild takes I've read on here. I actually can't believe anyone in the top couple pay brackets of the NRL wouldn't take less to chase success.
I remember having a beer with Aaron Woods' mum at the Orange Grove pre-game. He was playing for the opposition that day, but his mum was still wearing all Tigers clobber.Watch any interview with a parent who has two sons on opposing teams. They'll never say they're going for one particular side.
I'm not hyping himI understand you’re a really big fan of Galvin but you needa calm down on the overhyping of this kid… he’s played one season
