What do you mean ? It’s no different to when we signed Terrell May. The roster spot wasn’t there, so we couldn’t register the contract with the nrl u til Bateman left / miller lost his appeal .
But he was announced as a tiger .
That could happen because he’d agreed to a release from the roosters already , so it was all a formality .
We haven’t released klemmer because as of his manager would be crazy enough to do that . Nothings offical till it is .
It’s the dragons and molo and whoever is taking molo . Until then klemmer had to sit tight . His manager can’t be serious in wanting a first grade spot for his client whilst he’s committed to another club . But look who his manager is …. Nuff said

He Is sitting tight in reserve grade. Not protected from injury.
This whole thing is a mess.

Yea I know . Just saw that . It kind of undermines Chammas story . Maybe it’s fallen through ?
I’m 💯 certain though the reason he didn’t play trials was because he was all but set to go to the dragons .
Which is why he wasn’t training with the team … because he for a few weeks was on another team . If he’s back with the team . He might have lost his opportunity to move .
He’s not mistreated though .
Mistreating him would be what Ricky did to Woodford last year . Had no interest in playing him in first grade , and when a SL club came to Woodford for fair money , sticky didn’t release him . That’s being a dick to your player . Not giving him early warning and a chance to explore his options .
 
This has not been handled well at all,i have few problems with him going to play for the dragqueens but if he get's injured playing reggies i doubt they will want him.

we’ll see what happens with Molo… because apparently the moment that gets sorted Klem is out the door…

In the meantime we will also see what use Klem will be for the NRL team … although not even making the extended bench of 22 for the Week 1 game is not a good sign
 
Weren’t there murmurs DK was also questioning the coaching last year…
This is the Tigers - what the coach wants, the coach gets…

Imagine your near the bottom side. Molo, I think once was captian for a game says "Hey I am trying to build a house, I am on 700k can you front some so I can get a stable home."

Seriously it sounds very reasonable.
It also makes cap sense and We don't do it... FRONT players in a Nothing year so we have more cap next year.

May is our only standout really. Hunt is very green, Samuela is our only other "proven" forward. The Twal/Seyfarth/Pole/kinda pass first grade Props are there as well. Kit Laulilii like most players with a stack of i's is the only other player to show promise.

I hate Depth, we do need depth in the forwards and Klemmer provides it in spades.... But more then that, he up's our training!

I say this knowing he is gone. We need to really rethink our entire strategy here considering the people we have lost in the front row.

But is it legal
And when things get ugly they end up exactly where they are now.

Yep (re Molo)

I was trying to explain to people the difference between "legal" and "moral"...

If this is all a stunt to get a house and get his contract paid out with a minimum amount of contact... It's neither Moral or Legal (breach of contract).

100% don't want him here.

He’s committed to another club . Hasn’t signed yet because you can’t register the contract because molo is in position 30 . So he can sign anything he wants , it’s not worth anything until it’s registered .

That is a big if....could be that Klemmer was the one seeking the release. I have heard the scuttlebut about both "truths". We will not know the facts, and netiher do the media, and I expect that suits Richo and Benji fine.
