The fullback creates the extra number, that’s the whole point. Otherwise you’re just shifting the ball side to side and it’s just so easy for the defence to handle. We were absolutely impotent in attack.Something you guys have gotta realise is just cause it wasn’t the fullback sweeping doesn’t mean we didn’t do any sweeping plays
Kind of felt like we did at times on Friday and we still couldn’t get it done.I say we pay the refs
Benji should ring Sheen's and ask him how to strip numbers we had very little in attackAfter watching all the games so far I have to say we are in the bottom 4-5 , even the teams that got flogged look better than us in attack , apart from the try we scored I couldn’t remember another backline move , how the hell do u go throw a pre season and not have worked on plays inside there 1/3 , and too get 50 odd miss tackles is disgraceful, I think it might be a long winter AGAIN
Now you're talkin'.Zac Laybutt from the cowboys.
If only we could get that sort of treatment from the refs every week.Kind of felt like we did at times on Friday and we still couldn’t get it done.
Sure we need to free our salary cap,Think people are missing the point - molo klemmer lawrie wont be any kind of a swap , its about freeing up the WT's cap ,not St Gs
U could say the same thing about a dozen clubs. E.g. Cocks with May, Newcastle and Klemmer, etc. That’s just normal these days. Our bigger issues were the way we treated club legends like Farah and Bunji. Why would any new recruits be rushing to join us after the way we treated Klemmer
Yeah, but aren't we aiming for all grades to play the same style of football so when we bring a player up a grade they can fit right in immediately.NRL side run down after leading at half time.
Flegg side lose after leading 22-0 at half time
NSW Cup currently getting smashed after it was 6-4 at half time.
Very concerning trend there.
So you're saying we shouldn't be too concerned about Moses being back in time for round 7. 🤣Knew a bloke from my soccer days had the same problem, never played again he was 32.

Every touch - Jarome Luai
Watch every touch from Jarome Luai in his debut for the Wests Tigerswww.nrl.com
Just watching these clips it's clear he was underdone and not sure of his role. A lot of last tackle kicks or running on last play dumping it to Galvin. He is on 1.2 million, not Galvin. Idiotic that he thinks playing 2nd fiddle like he did next to Cleary is what's going to work. He didn't really focus on anything last night either. Kicking was evenly shared. Barely took a run. Didn't set up his outside men well. Didn't link up on the right enough. Probably the only good thing was his defence but even then he missed some key tackles at the end of the game. That last panic pass to Galvin at the end of the game showed his lack of game management that Cleary usually saves him in. Galvin had a shocker and to keep going to him is ridiculous. I go back to the raiders game for penrith last year where he threw an intercept where penrith were in front which decided the game. He is not good at staying calm when the game is in the balance. Same as last night, Tigers in front 8-0, then he gives away 7 tackle set and Knights score a set later which changes momentum. He then missed a tackle in the leadup to the 2nd try. He is not clutch. He is no match winner and the only way tigers will win in 2025 is in close games, so he's going to have a nightmare with no Aidan Sezer to kick a field goal. Luai is afraid to be the man despite saying it publicly. For Samoa, it was stephen crichton who sent samoa into the world cup final. For penrith, it was always cleary. He'll just dump everything on Galvin who is way overhyped and out of his depth. In origin last year, luai's assist was the difference maker in the end with it being tryless till then, but it was a something out of nothing play from behind. When in front, luai has no idea how to manage a team unless they are already at least 12 in front. Benji has to restructure the attack, drop galvin to reserves and perhaps play AD in the halves if that is what it takes
Would Sheens even remember who Benji is? 😉Benji should ring Sheen's and ask him how to strip numbers we had very little in attack
The effort was there in the scrambling defence but the attack was U10s
Hope we can get a positive result with the Olam retirement decision but what about May's court appearance tomorrow?Looking at what we ran out in the centre's last night and Olam gone either way, id take May any day of the week. Whats the bet the NRL deny the medical retirement of Olam just to screw with us.
I'm no bard but let's hope that this does not turn into, "the winter of our discontent."not talking footy here - was there ever a short winter
Bulldogs didn't do one grubber into the in goal.. they got deep and ran straight and hard at the line.. they used decoys which gives them options of a short ball or to a straight running centre.. their reserve grade did exactly the same .. deep and straight .. they're very basic but very affective plays .. it's not rocket science !!! That's what luai had at penrith.. straight running 2rf's and centres.. surely we can coach that into our current squads across the grades !!!They say doing the same thing and expecting different results is the definition of insanity
I’m putting Luai’s game down to missing the trials and first game back …no such excuse for Gal …I don’t like his grubber/ attacking kick game … maybe Luai should be running with this most of the time …
Don't like his chancesSo you're saying we shouldn't be too concerned about Moses being back in time for round 7. 🤣
He’ll be back in first grade next week. Now your talkin'.
