Hey TuckerNo, no, no, no, no
We want someone who buys in and won’t give up.
Matterson is a pea hearted money grubbing arsehole.
It's Luai on that side now, so the ball is in his court. My recollection of him receiving the ball from Galvin is; he has 2 guys waiting to smash him. Flashbacks of Lawrence hitting the line. He needs to be a decoy for a double pump, or cut out pass to someone else. Galvin is still on training wheels ATM.
I reckon we'll get a members email tomorrow that Klemmer has been released then another one on Monday that Olam is being medically retired and then one more (let's say Thursday) that Taylan May has signed on.
As for the backrow, I personally don't hate Twal and Bird sharing the lock role with Twal shoring up the middle in defence for 20min and then Bird coming on to add some dynamic. BUT what I saw from Seyfarth last week showed me we need a genuine starting 2nd-row option with Seyfarth off the bench as cover. Hope he has a blinder on Sunday and proves me wrong.
Great name brother ! Welcome to the jungle.Tigers players that hit the open market November 1 2025:
Api Koroisau, Jack Bird, Justin Olam, Kit Laulilii, Lachlan Galvin, Sione Fainu, Solomone Saukuru, Starford To'a, Tallyn Da Silva, Tony Sukkar, Jarome Luai, Jeral Skelton
Who from this lot do we NEED to resign??
It would also be interesting to see KOE / State Cup players in such lists too. They are also potentially there for the picking. The imagine club will be examining players who are not on the list, forced out due to the salary cap etc.
Garner wasn't outstanding, but reliable, that he was. What about bringing Garner back, he always put in for us and was reliable
API , Luai stays , TDS , Skelton , Sione if he goes well , rest after 26 not required and add Tumeth as wellTigers players that hit the open market November 1 2025:

Been in that Penrith system during the height of their excellence and collected two rings.Garner wasn't outstanding, but reliable, that he was.
Maybe we could do better, woudl go ok if he came back.
I wouldnt sign Api again for 27 onwards. 2 more years with him and TDS will well and truly be ready to go it alone.API , Luai stays , TDS , Skelton , Sione if he goes well , rest after 26 not required and add Tumeth as well
He could have worded it better than that but yes. We didnt see him playing here in 26 so we have worked with him to find a solution. What did you expect him to say? 'We've released Klemmer from his contract to avoid activation of an extension clause should he play 14 games?'
Have always said that and when required to fill in at centre he was our best centre by a fair margin, to the amusement of many on this forum.Been in that Penrith system during the height of their excellence and collected two rings.
If he came back here, he'd be one of the best players in our pack....he'd also be our best centre.
I do wonder if they've missed an edge target or two behind closed doors in the off season.Yes we are.
In fact Sam isnt playing the same as he was last year either at the moment.
What a terrific idea it was to let Papali'i and Bateman go....
Its certainly possible isnt it?I do wonder if they've missed an edge target or two behind closed doors in the off season.
Still playing well but Manly are still below the top 2. So not sure what their long term plan is because Brooks isn't a half. Not that I care about Manly anyway.Manly look like signing DCE for another year. Crazy how the game is evolving so much that halves are playing till their mid to late 30’s. DCE reminds me a lot of Cam Smith where he could play in a dinner suit. Makes it look so easy.
TDS has to do something. Maybe he's been told not to but an early kick on the 3rd, more dummy half running, more subtlety around the ruck. I think th coaches have told him to defend well and give quick solid service. That doesn't help us if that's the case.I wouldnt sign Api again for 27 onwards. 2 more years with him and TDS will well and truly be ready to go it alone.
Id look at Kit Lauli'ii as he has something. Tough bugger.
Yeh, by his own admission he likes to work in the shadows, so every miss will probably go under our radar. Its certainly possible isnt it?
I mean Richo has let 4 of our starting pack from last year go - with 3 of them still under contract. Thats a big manouvre.
