Yep , it doesn’t look good , when Luai and others stayed out there for ages afterwards .
I don’t want to buy into the body language stuff , but at the least it shows a lack of ability to read the room , or care too ! Because the fans might not seem important , but if they turn on you as a player , coach , even administrator, there is no coming back from that .
But I’m not that fussed with TDS . He’s a good footy player , but we have always had a conveyor belt of great dummy halves coming through . And present day is not excluded to that . Bailey Hayward has HUGE raps on him .
And there’s others in Matt’s and so on . I eventually think if TDS left with Galvin to the eels , we could get by with Hope off the bench until Hayward was ready .
But I’m hoping TDS love for the club and the tigers will out shine any bad mouthing from the Galvin camp .
I mean at the end of the day it could have been Galvin bitching about something so he went with Galvin to the back room for a private conversation . Just being an ear for his mate , who’s going through it.

I'm sure his partner tells him the truth at home. Having to come to work and then be informed (courteously) by WTs' supporters of the truth must be uncomfortable. It's not nice.

Galvin lacks the kicking game, defence and pace to be a half. [Thanks Paws]
I think the Knights 5/8, Fletcher Sharpe, is a much better player.
He would be more outstanding alongside Luai. Has pace in spades and scores tries, something Galvin lacks.
Glad Richco drew the line in the sand. We will not regress. There are other players out there that can do what Galvin does on much less money? [expected future money].
What bothers me most is Luai is not getting any younger and his talents wasted for 18 months nurturing a player who is going elsewhere.
Fingers crossed Latu can stay on the paddock longterm.

Galvin and Luai have the biggest divide of anyone at the club. The body language looks horrible. Their interaction on the field looks forced. Something has clearly gone down bubbling beneath the surface for a while now, they haven't combined as good as they can be both being great players

I watched it. Galvin looked to have been getting up before Luai was even walking into the camera shot. Galvin also wouldn't have been able to see Luai behind the wall.
Who cares about Galvin bro ! He’s a means to an end until Latu takes his spot . And we swap him for something we actually need . IDGAF about that kid mate , outside of he’s not causing disharmony within the playing group whilst he awaits his release .

Agree L anyone who thinks Galvin might change his mind is grasping at straws, wonder boy has made up his mind.
Just wish Latu wasn't made of glass, Benji was injury prone early in his career but grew out of it we can only hope Latu does the same.
Put it this way if Latu was sound, couldn't give a rat's crack what Galvin does but for now until Latu's body is more resilient we need to
keep him on the roster, It's annoying I know.

I wouldn't waste too much time drawing conclusions from ambiguous couple of second clips on game day. All that really matters is the body language and results during the game. The rest is just noise.

Unfortunately Benji inadvertently gave Galvin too much hope last year when he told him to play what he sees and control the team. Even if Galvin wanted to change his mind now I think it’s too late. The club will now go and buy what they need to move forward and Galvin may live to regret what sounds like an immature reaction of a 19 year old that was reinforced by an imbecile of a manager.
The moment where Galvin and Luai celebrated the try - I think these moments are more real as there’s no awkwardness. It’s pure reaction, but when there’s more time to think about it it probably gets a bit awkward.
There was another moment after a try where Galvin says “nice pass” to Luai and I think he says “thanks Bro”. My feeling is that Galvin is trying to mend the relationship, Luai is all business and Galvin probably feels that Luai still hasn’t gotten over whatever happened.
