OFFICIAL Jarome Luai - #295

So been watching and to me he is definitely carrying few extra kgs, lost significant amount of pace and for me he is a ball playing lock forward and no longer a really effective 1/2 or 5/8.
I think he has put on more size being in the 7 and not the 6. Do you think we have it wrong? Sullivan has apparently lost weight going to the Bunnies and it seems to be doing well for him.
I mean Luai should be able to put on muscle and not lose pace or agility, maybe the issue is with our strength and conditioning department. The way we fell off some of those tackles tonight, we certainly need to work on our physical contact.

I'm pissed at Galvin as well ....but he is on about quarter of the pay check

No more excuses.....Luai is a million miles from his pay check
Luai is great ..WITH CLEARY . a real problem with ordinary players around him...another desperate buy ...hoping the club would change...then reality hit, some harder than others..
The only way this club will change is by getting a professional FG coach getting rid of the boys club and realising that this is a business not a play on the weekend and have a beer day..
We have talented players that go elsewhere after a while, why is that ??then they become stars elsewhere why is that???the club stinks and the smell is getting worse each year...
I have utmost respect for Benji.however this is 2025 not 2005...
That's the problem if you dig deep enough...

Luau is on a hiding to nothing; we have no go forward and no shape.

He took way more control in the last 15 minutes when we actually looked more dangerous

Why can’t he do that from the opening whistle?
I wonder what would happen if he had as many touches as Galvin. It would seem the gameplan continues to be that we shuffle the ball to Galvin and he plays what he sees, then Luai does solid average stuff otherwise. So for example Luai does set up plays, he kicks ok, he definitely makes his tackles, he is dangerous enough when he runs, but he spends most of his time distributing like a Chad Townsend and not himself setting up a sequence of plays.
