Seriously though the bts footage that May is providing through his YouTube channel is what every sporting fan craves. It’s not common for a rugby league player in Australia to reveal there personality unless it’s been captured on CCTV or through someone filming someone Snapchat video.
So why do we hate it?
I mean I love seeing it, but I cringe at the awkwardness at the same time, so do we need it.
Does a fan really need to be behind the scenes of a football team and would that exposure actually have a negative impact on the side and or player. Is May’s Vlog some of the reason for the snubbing?
Sure he probably should have reacted more humble about just being in the conversation re origin but I feel May is different in that if he wasn’t first choice he’d prefer not to be picked.
But I ask again how did footage of his live stream get leaked? It’s streaming isn’t it? Not a recording, so who recorded it. Sure he is gaming with the public and publicly commenting but he is also just playing online with mates, when is private private?

Also, for context , he was hurting , and that was him just acting out with his mates, it was not his official statement or anything like that

With dumb arse Daley in charge,we probably wont win SOO for a little while..maybe the 3rd game after the series is over
Theres good reason why he was fired..isnt there anybody else?
KIng is a solid plodder at 28 who had one good game against WTs in a team that won 64 nil..everybody looks good.. ,
...and Stefano is laterally immobile.
May on the other hand is coming second in the Dally Ms for good reason,tho he did have a poor game against Storm..and thats entirely attributable to Benji burning him out by playing him for too many minutes every single week
Unrelated.Tedesco has comprehensively out played Edwards all season...and if theres a better 9 in NSW than Api,I havent seen him.Robson is not in the same postcode
Selfishly it all works for WTs and gives them a much needed break...but they deserve better

That was my point as well. He was venting somewhat privately but online. But why is there nothing off limits. Maybe he should ditch the twitch for a bit given people screen grab conversations and sell it to the media. Nothing is off limits it seems.

I knew this would get taken out of context lol ..

Steffy was good for a crash ball play over the line but not much else.
May is good for everything else but he’s been held up 3 times over the line this year.
 
It was said on NRL 360 tonight that Bellamy had targeted May in defence last weekend and they found a heap of weaknesses in his game.

So if I take my bias hat off for a second and put to the side what Terrell has bought to the Tigers, could there actually be deficiencies in his game that would be found out in SOO?

It would be unfair if they just based it on the game vs the Storm. Many teams have been touched up by them over the years.

They say "may is great for supercoach", but they think he actually misses alot of tackles that he doesn't get penalised for in super coach because he comes back over the top with a "flop"... Which I don't buy into because you get penalised for flopping these days...

Lets assume it's not character and it is pure technical.

What am I missing when I am watching him play? Or what should I be looking out for?
 
The type of character I think Terrell is, he will use this as motivation to fix any deficiencies in his game. Perhaps an eye opener that could see him go to an even higher level.

Although somehow I feel he could do everything they ask and they still won't pick him for whatever reason. In another sport, I remember Australia not picking Glenn Maxwell in test cricket, saying he needed to "train smarter", whatever the hell that means. This was despite him being the best red ball cricketer not playing for Australia at the time.

That kinda happens in most tackles with momentum. As long as it's not 5m a time... But Ive never noticed it.. will keep my eye out next match. Thx

I don’t know if that’s the case, but it seems there a lot of posters on this forum that only watch the Tigers play as fans of the team but don’t have that love of rugby league that drives them to watch the other games from an unbiased viewpoint.
 
I feel his first contact is poor he doesn’t seem to look to hit the opponent really hard he more tries to absorb the impact and then wrestle them, but in origin that might be found out
 
Back end of the Souths game was what we need from him. Straight ahead looking to punch through and rack up PCM.

Sometimes stops at the line looking to offload or crabs sideways.

He's got it in him to be even better and go from good to great.

Sione showing them all how it's done. Hard to handle that kid.

May had great late footwork at the line last few years with the Roosters. He hasn’t brought that to us. Not sure where it went?!
