OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

ir he and manager push on with bullying claim tigers do not want that. We will not have any say on where he goes in 2025, it will be we take cash and drop teh bullying claim
Does anyone know besides the club the depth to this bullying theme played out in the media being the cause of the imminent release.

Maybe it could be that the board, Richo, Benji and the players have had a gutful of this pecker neck's antics and want him gone ASAP.

the quicker he is out the door the better . We looked like we rolled over so what.Sometimes its best to park the ego. Bad ploy it being out there that part of it is to drop legal proceedings. Im confident Richo will extract every last drop of what he can get from a win win / loose loose situation

Clearly the club has had enough. I think from the outside looking in our team spirit has taken a hit. Thats what this team was thriving on this season and we need to get it back ASAP. It doesn't matter what the players say about getting on with business etc, they would be walking on eggshells around Gal and the only way to get it back is to drop him or release him. Dropping him creates nothing but negative press and a hell of lot of it.
Im not going to lie, I feel like we have been bent over once again by releasing him, but taking the emotion out of it, the further him and his family are from the club the better. Braith Anasta is 100% right in everything he said.
I hate to sound like a broken record, but if Latu is going to be the solution, then he needs to go see the Hamstring guru in the US. Given the number of reoccurrences, it would appear our staff are not up to the rehab task.

Also worth noting re the bullying claims. It was reported Arthur Moses was acting for Galvin for free. This was only ever going to cost one party a lot of money, regardless of the outcome.
he is not related - however he is a huge parra fan

Read n some other scribe stated a month back that some of the trash talk being put out about Benji, not the cant coach stuff, it was deeper much personal, where grounds to counter sue, and i moses was told so, but that went off the radar really quick,

The bullying allegation makes Galvin look worse than us in the media. Maybe we leaked it to make it look like we are being blackmailed into releasing him.

We honestly hold all the cards, we won't be the ones coming out worse with this thing IMO

if galvin was fairdinkum about his development ,its got to be the Storm , spending the next 4 yrs playing for Sth Logan ?, Burleigh? or any other of their feeder clubs up north
Not a bad call. Melbourne have just 1 recognised back up half on their books in Pezet.

Ink, I can't see why on earth you'd turn off the ignore function.
There's only one single poster on this whole colourful forum that I ignore. Oh, is that an elephant in the room ?
Since ignoring him around 12 months ago, I can guarantee you that the forum is a much more pleasant place, and I sure as hell ain't missed out on a single intelligent snippet from deleting his input.
Hit the ignore again mate. Life's too short.
I've got a cple I ignore...ppl who simply wanna have a personal attack if they have a contrary opinion, which I always try to respect even if I don't agree
It's a gr8 feature of this forum

I heard a different take on this today. Galvin actually wanted to stay at WT and Moses saw an opportunity to put the boot into Benji, hence the list of grievances, hoping they'd opt to keep Galvin and punt Benji, probably for a coach Moses acts for. Similar to Penrith punting Gould to get Ivan Cleary back so his son wouldn't follow him to WT.
Rich wasn't copping that and released the statement immediately to expose Moses.
If that's the case then it's doubtful any deal had already been done with any other club.

if that's the case Galvin is double D dumb. Ps, if there is any fact to that, it seems like the start of a game to control another club. Love to be sitting in the room when isuck complains to the shrink , rocking back n forwards, how stoopid peeps are deaf to his brilliance
