OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Couldn’t agree more
They already have Ponga, Sharp and next year Brown
Not one of them or Galvin is a number 7 (organiser)
So I see no chance of Newcastle wanting Galvin for the rest of this year let alone future years.
Galvin and Burton aren't 7s.. but that isn't stopping the dogs going after him is it?

if galvin was fairdinkum about his development ,its got to be the Storm , spending the next 4 yrs playing for Sth Logan ?, Burleigh? or any other of their feeder clubs up north
I get the feeling that's what's happening wit the offer from the dogs

He's going there to play NSW cup this year and transition into first grade next year

doubt its the Dogs, in saying that ,they would master a game plan to hide him in defence, but the club n his personality just don't match

Again, why would you tinker with this when Tracey is also having a stellar year at FB..

It's insane

I love it though.. because I feel like them getting Galvin actually sets them back

All because Gus is thinking with his pecker
Wouldn't be the first time Gould had a bromance with a Tigers player poor old Keithy copped it for years, pucker up Gussy.

I heard a different take on this today. Galvin actually wanted to stay at WT and Moses saw an opportunity to put the boot into Benji, hence the list of grievances, hoping they'd opt to keep Galvin and punt Benji, probably for a coach Moses acts for. Similar to Penrith punting Gould to get Ivan Cleary back so his son wouldn't follow him to WT.
Rich wasn't copping that and released the statement immediately to expose Moses.
If that's the case then it's doubtful any deal had already been done with any other club.
Doubt it , if I wanted to stay at a club and got offered MILLIONS and my manager said no we are not interested.. I'd fuc.k him off ..

Its hard to believe this when you have stated that Galvin had already signed with the Roosters a while before the blow up.

Tigerballs
I can tell you that I have been in conversations with Mr.Galvin
and what you heard is not how it is, He is sticking with his son has always been in winning sides and Lachlan doesn’t see that happening at the Tigers.
And no Father Galvin gave us no indication where Lachlan will end up.
I have mentioned before some of the crap written about Lachlan’s
Father is just rubbish.

I agree. The reactions towards his family by people on here is pathetic.
I can understand where they are coming from. If I had a son playing in this system over the past 3 years, there’s no way in hell I’d be advising him to stay.

. . . . . and their current fullback who at this stage seems to have more of a clue about fullback play than our current fullback, what do they do with him?
Named players get 1st go , that’s the only play they got , they have to many forwards to but Galvin in as lock

Appreciate your update Oldman,

My biggest concerns are that he was asking for release before even playing a game and that shows me his character and not wanting to work hard for something. We were the only team to give him that chance to even play 1st grade and if that didn't happen, he most likely would still be playing cup and not getting all this money and attention. (not saying he is not talented)

Laui is a perfect example of a young kid playing with his mates and all of them putting in the hard yards to improve Panthers because they were bottom like us and they ended up with 4 premierships. What a feeling that would have been but sounds like he just wants to join a super team and have success straight away. That's his choice but not the character of people we are building here.

IMO I think we dodged a bullet here as 6mil for him would have been way overs but that's my opinion and people can disagree
