Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

You don’t think he’ll improve dramatically under a coach he actually listens to and respects? Look at Moses, he was a dud here too because he didn’t want to be here anymore. Goes to Parra becomes a game breaker and now Origin half. Galvin will improve in an environment that suits him, of that I have no doubt.
I’m interested to see how this unfolds. As you say he may just improve dramatically under a more disciplined coach as opposed to a coach who basically says play what you see. Then again, as BAGNF05 eludes to, the more strict robotic style of play could take him a while to fit into.
Personally I think Benji’s approach may not have suited Galvin.

Can someone please clarify for me.
The insinuation on 360 was that the transfer fee was to be stumped up by Galvin's party to allow him to negotiate and that player swaps etc would be conditional to the payment of the fee first?
Seems like any other contract today that it's all made up, but you would think that payment of the transfer fee does not immediately release Galvin of his current contract with WT, only allows negotiation prior to Nov 1.
I'm sure no one knows the details for sure aside from Moses and Richo but this does sound a bit more logical and typical of contract conditions

Nah, Galvin is already malignant so he will not be playing for WT again, and the club is not using all or part of the supposed transfer fee for him to see out the year at Concord or elsewhere.

galvin to dogs is wild to me .. I mean they’re all effort but surely the wheels fall off soon.

Can’t imagine Burton would be happy to play fullback either
I would imagine the Dogs would be willing to pay him similar coin to what we pay him and play him up and down between reserve grade till he is ready for a full time gig in the top grade.

Gould has always said he is not ready to be a consistent first grader, but I just don’t think his ego would like playing reserves
