OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

But it clouds judgement. How else do you get people going from being excited about him being one of our greatest juniors we’ve produced to shrugging that he’s leaving and might not even reach his potential. It’s a coping mechanism.
Its always 'people here' or 99% people here last year....to 100% this year blah blah...just to bolster a narrative.
Nothing wrong with changing an opinion on a person based on emotion the divorce courts are full of them.
He was our player then hes too good for us...[emotion]he can get flucked[/emotion]

Changing opinion on character is one thing. Ability is another.

Do you think Galvin has the potential to become the next Aaron Woods after he leaves?

We had nothing to enjoy really last year at all. Galvin was the only thing, despite the fact he pushed for releases over the course of the year.

It is understandable why people were into him last year, the whole year was a write off. Hopefully the club learns from this experience.
The potential of him was interesting, but I very quickly lost that interest once it became apparent that he wasnt a long term prospect here.

I don't know that's entirely true...
We also rushed through all the young blokes in 2010-2012/13
When we were a more successful side.

Seems to me, It's just what we do...
Yeah I guess it also depends on the more senior members of the team and the maturity (and quality) of the young blokes your bringing up.

For example - Bradley Clyde had the maturity of a seasoned 28 year old when he debuted 👍

Its pretty clear benji has at times told.him to take a back seat and let galvin do whatever he wants
Yeah that makes sense.
Listen to what you are saying...this isnt local park footy. Do you really thing that a professional football club in the most elite competition in the world would give this directive to a second year kid who is struggling?

Forever the contrarian … was well and truely on the other side of the fence until everyone turned on the kid . Anyways ….
You talking to me? I hate him and want him gone yesterday. However it’s juvenile to suddenly think as a player he isn’t a loss. Most here seem to think it’s no big deal. Thats after fawning over
him for a year.

What are we gonna do, sack him? He’ll most likely be gone in a few weeks anyway.
Look in all honesty it's not that bad. It's only a post about TDS testing the open market, not about TDS leaving or anything definitively critical of the club. But still, it's not a good look.

The club should add it to its dossier to present to Moses lol

Staying to wonder if he deliberately dropped the ball over the line last week against Souths. Seemed pretty happy for a guy celebrating when surely he knew he dropped it
Yeah, cos players have never tried to sell it before. Hate him all you like, but it’s important to stay within the realms of reality.
