OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

We shouldn't be releasing him if all we are getting is $165k transfer fee.

Horrible deal if true.
I think our hands been forced but that being said, what he and his manager have done to this club this year is unforgivable.

Galvin has worn out his welcome, I believe.
He is toxic and we dont want that around our club.
Anti-culture, allow that poisoned chalice at the next club that welcomes him.

You joined WTF at 1pm yesterday and you reckon you know @Tucker and the forum well enough to tell Tucker to "give it a rest".
Sounds to me like you may be a regular on here and you are now using another name for some strange reason.
may have just been sitting on the sideline and couldn't bite their tongue anymore . Your quick to jump in defending the weak . Our Magpies back in the comp yet ?

Yeah, it was this big

Not the good eating kind, more the hard, wooden, trunky, kind. Hard to scale, and even harder to gut and fillet. Burns well once you’ve dried them out.
no blind mullet escaping the sewerage system? , Lucky the Hawkesbury missed it , we've had enough for a while. Blind Mullet happens . Power on

Exactly. that rat 🐀 and his rat manager mugged us off by creating this mess and I doubt he gets much respect for doing what he did.

We can blame the manager, but Galvin signs off on it as do his parents.

For a million a season, you can buy a lot of origin experience...best we spend our money on proven performers, not inconsistent prima donnas

That’s weak. He had a decent enough roster to win one more game each season - which is all he had to do.
He does not get a pass for either season. He had a squad containing heaps of big game experience and more than a few rep players and he couldn’t get them to work together.
He is on his last chance mate and failure to crack the top 75% of teams this year will have the beating drums at a deafening level.
So if we came 16th last year with an extra win, he would be considered a good coach in your eyes?

What's your assessment of Ivan Cleary this year?

He’ll be better in a good system.
All you people shit talking him thought he was the ants pants last year.
That playing ability and skill hasn’t disappeared. In a new setup, it’ll reappear.
I kinda though want some realism on Galvin...

I am not down with saying he is crap. He is only crap for leaving us and not giving the club a chance.

I am also not down with saying he is Amazing. We saw Bula at our club and the guy was crossing the line, scoring tries. Teddy got injured in his first year, second year it was clear he would be Amazing/special/etc.

The offers Parra and Bulldogs have presented, of 750k per year seem about right. A good player, a good player who probably wouldn't be at the same value as Munster, Cody Walker, Ezra Mam... but the next 5/8 behind them. I honestly don't see Ciraldo or Ryles coaching a better Galvin, we will see a 5/8 with the energy of a fullback that can read plays.

The guy will play Origin, but won't play for Australia unless there are injuries.
