What a massive waste of time the whole thing has been. All involved look like dopes, including a bunch of people at WT.
Benji probably the only person who doesn't look like an idiot, scumbag or child. Not sure it does his reputation as a coach any favours though.
Keeping unhappy players or players the team is unhappy with never works and until I hear we got a player directly as a swap for the early release I consider it a failure. If you are going to buckle, do it on day one and don't put burn your season. 3 options would have been better than this, in order from best to worst imo:
1. Reggie's full-time and forget his name
2. Never dropped to cup, keep everything as consistent as possible and shut down all the emotional reactions as the only goal
3. Release day one
Richo's first fail for me.

I'm not so sure Gould is the genius everyone makes him out to be.
Penrith didn't win shit until he got the ass from Penrith - to be fair he did do a great job setting up the pathways. But again they didn't win shit until his meddling was put to an end.
He walked out on the warriors after COVID after promising the world.
Couldn't convince the fainu brothers, luai or may to join the dogs over the 3 time wooden spooners.
Could only get a potentially good 1 st grade teenager to leave and join the dogs after unethically using his media gig to break anti tampering rules.
This is classic Gus and has the potential to blow up the Bulldogs season and I hope it dose !!!

If Benji finds himself out of a job before the end of 26, the club is going to look like morons and Galvin will feel even more vindicated. I love Benji, but this was always on the cards when a handful of players have already walked out the door under his tutelage.

Doesn't make much sense, a lot of Dogs fans are going to be fearful of this destabilising their season. Quite a few didn't want him.......Here's hoping it does stuff their season.
If any of our forwards belt the absolute daylight out of Galvin in round 22, but cop a suspension, would you be ok with it?

I know it’ll never happen but there should be a full investigation into Gus over what’s played out the last 18 months. Deliberately manipulating the market & player with the things he was saying while NRL power figures just watched & did nothing about it. This didn’t just happen with Galvin either it happened with Leo Thompson & Sitili Toops as well.
