OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Whats crazy is the media outside of Braith hasn’t caught onto the timeline.

Galvin posts on insta the dogs track, then another post shortly after saying he doesn’t care what people will think. Then Gus within 2 days starts saying Galvin is the best young player and will win comps etc at whatever club he is at. Every since been directly focused on him in his media gigs.

People think this just happened - the NRL has just had a master class from the best in the business.
What’s this Dogs Track post? Timeline beginning of the season?

The best part of this is Gus losing all credibility thinking that anything he says now can be taken seriously. For the few believers that were left, his attempt to try and talk his way out of this one when we have been watching the love fest over Galvin for months now is just laughable . Just own it Gus - you are embarrassing yourself and your mouthpieces in Ennis - who works with the Dogs and all your other minions - look just as stupid trying to explain how and why it will work.
James Graham's bias has come to the forefront in clash with rothfield on triple M.

He is justifying Goulds decision to lie by putting the club first to prevent the media pile on and disruption..

But he regularly digs into Richo about taking control of the situation (which was best for the tigers as a club and it's fans)

Gus said on Ch 9 that I Moses contacted him this week and said he might be able to get Galvin out of his contract this season would he be interested, this is after Gus has said we aren’t having a conversation about Galvin now or in the future, his not on our radar.

If so, why was the manager contacting Gould this week.

Hmmm pub test failed out of Goulds mouth

Gould knows in 2025 a news cycle is a few days max. Not long passes and everyone forgets this and is then consumed by the latest train wreck; it's also why there are very often parallel sensationalised 'news' stories.

Looking at the left hand? Hey! You won't believe what the right hand is doing!

It'd be understandable if Ennis' heart was at Belmore, but I don't think he has ever worked there in any capacity. I've seen him in Manly coach's box this year.

Might be wrong but pretty sure he is a consultant with the Bulldogs

From an outsider looking in, Roosters are the celebrity club in Sydney. They are the glamour club who are seen as the coolest among the influencers and socialites. I’m sure their players receive lots of invites to major events outside of footy. They get lots of offers for third parties and sponsorship deals and job offers post career due to their public status.
To be a member of the money and fame factory like that, you have to perform on the field. They have no shortage of people wanting in so you become an expendable commodity. I’m not convinced their players love the game like guys from other setups, moreso, they see it as the vehicle that can deliver them a comfortable and exciting life. Be great at RL, become a big name in this club, set yourself up for life.
Broncos operate the same way.
So why our club, with large membership and community connections... isn't as Glamorous as Easts?
Weidler has had a go at Moses in the past. Given that, his sympathy for Moses and Galvin means it's not too hard to see that the fact he backed Galvin and Moses from the start of all this suggests that the deal with the dogs has been done for a while. He's Gould's man.

You could see that in the way Gus talked about Galvin. It was the same sort of doublespeak when Cleary was our coach and he'd poached him from us and then came out with 'Id let Nathan go if he wanted to be coached by Ivan, you've got to respect family', and then it's announced that in fact Ivan is going to the panthers. He's clever, tactful and knows the media and players better than anyone in the game. And he eats our club for breakfast. You can see how brilliant he'd be in persuading a concerned family like Galvin's. Of course they'd want to go to him.

I'm surprised somehow luai and the fainus both chose us over them. Again, I am deeply uncertain about Benji as a coach, but I would guess in tribute to him, his ability to recruit top class talent is second to none at our club.

But anyway, so Weidler has his grudges and his favourites but above all he's Gould's dog. And Gould's dog has been defending Galvin from the start.

Gus is a brilliant club administrator, I'd love to have him at the club. But the way he controls media narrative through his dual roles to get benefits for his club is grossly problematic. He has a whole media network to spin what he wants. If he weren't so powerful, there's no way he would be allowed to do what he does. His words are toxic for us, the way he jabs and prods in sneaky doublespeak ways is brutally effective.

He wins again. His cheerleader, Weidler, is doing his little bit. Good boy, good boy.
Look Gus is a great administrator, because he throws his whole life into it...

That said, it was a total mis-step with Ivan Cleary. Ivan gets rehired and GUS IS OUT. Gus wanted to stay and was even trying to land Wayne Bennett at Penrith to keep his job.

Although, I wonder if Gus never let Ivan C go... if the side would have hit the hights they did?

This is just Galvin wanting to play finals footy....

I actually reckon Ciraldo is spitting chips on this one.
FB: conner tracy (doing great)
Center: Xerri/Crichton
5/8: Hayward (seems ok).
Half: Sexton (great).

Lock: Jaeman Salmon/King

You always need a spare star/spare playmaker... But bringing Galvin in really disturbs the current team makeup. Maybe it will trigger a competitive spirit, but it will mean Galvin trying and pushing into spots when the Bulldogs have Gelled as a unit.... All in all, I think this is Gould just wishlisting and it may break the dogs.

Don’t get the focus on Gus and how he lied.

This is professional sport, it’s about winning not being ethical.

Galvin might be a turd but we now have a weaker squad and the dogs are stronger. Richo and Benji need to fix this because our squad was already weak before this.
It’s more about Gus having two responsibilities bulldogs and nine and to do one job he lies at the other.

Gus is employed by Bulldogs and Ch 9. He has no obligation to anyone beyond that. Don’t blame Gus for getting his man. Be envious that we can’t seem to do this ourselves as a club.
