The Fifita recruitment issue, it’s all about price isn’t it?
If it’s the range, we might do worse than give him a chance.

I think Sam has the makings of a great player.Suggesting playing Sam in the middle is a classic example of if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. He’s only 21. It won’t happen overnight, but he has all the ingredients to be an elite back rower. Guys like Luai, Turuva and May get all the headlines for signings we have made recently, but in the long term, I think he will Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon them all.

To a degree.
It's risk/reward.
For Fifita, if he's 'on', he's worth a bucketload.
But, if he gets lazy...
I think it's more about 'how easily can you get out of the contract if it's not working'.
Idk about Fifita. Absolutely elite when he’s on, but is it not a red flag that a struggling club like the Titans are willing to let him go? All signs point to attitude problems. Not something we have a history of rectifying in players.
Myself and quite a few others on here picked and sticked with the choice of recruiting him.I think that's because it can only take 1 game to see proof of concept.
Many Tigers fans were of the bullish belief, rightly or wrongly, that he has been utilised poorly at Newcastle and that he is higher quality than maybe what he's shown thus far.
Full disclosure, that wasn't my opinion. I actually hadn't seen enough of him either way to have an opinion.
A game like he played last night gives some credence to those claims, whereas prior, I think it was more hopeful than anything.
Why did I just get a vision of Homer trying to coat hanger his way into the Monorail when he looked his keys inside. We’ll get him straightened out
Agreed. Which is why you add a bunch of mutual options to the contract & never assume he is your long term answer.Idk about Fifita. That, and my years of sitting on inside knowledge that I make up in my own head....What are you basing this on? Gut feel?
more than price, he’s super unhappy at the club and there’s a bit of mental health stuff going on tooThe Fifita recruitment issue, it’s all about price isn’t it?

That ain’t happening. You think he warrants the same money as Seyfarth? No to Fifita unless you could get him for under 500k. High risk signing

Plus he's been playing injured for a lot of the yearDisagree.
Samuela does a LOT off the ball that people don't notice. He is a far more complete player than people are giving him credit for and his form this year, particularly in defence and clean up work continues to be top shelf.
KPP was copping it for weeks. One good game and people have done an immediate 180.
$2.8 million on Ponga and Dylan Brown next year
If weve snared KPP,dont need Fifita...too high risk vs rewardhigh risk for sure ..
Also ..we have kinda filled his spot already with the KPP signing
Samuela’s body type is better suited to back row. He’s tall and powerful. They’re the players you want running at halves 1 on 1.I don't mind Sam back to the middle at some point, but I think it's a way off and it would work better once he grows into his body around 24/25 y.o.
That being said, he may continue to rise in quality as an edge and make himself immovable from that position too.
He's such an exciting prospect to see grow.
Nah man. Been watching him for a while his base stats are really good which shows he is constantly involved. My concern wasn’t with KPP more so whether the Tigers will be able to use him more effectively than the Knights do.KPP was copping it for weeks. One good game and people have done an immediate 180.
