He is a good young player and the club also needs to buy a good centre. That Hassett kid from the Riff would be another good young player signing if we snag him
One more fully fledged first grader and I think we have our squad complete.
It's got to be a forward. Just can't decide on Prop or a versatile backrower. Whoever it is needs to provide impact.
That's kind of what I mean by versatile backrower. A guy that can play edge and 13 to sit on the bench (maybe even cover centre if needed). That's Bird now...need a better Bird.I’ll say two more …. A starting 13 and a bench forward to replace Bird
They are... but it can work. Just need to find a lock that can share the load with Api. My thoughts are to manufacture a "tough nut half" with great defence "uses his shoulder" a like Plath, understands the X/O of the gameBoth are 6s if you ask me
Let's bring him back to WT. Back depth and players challenging for spots can only be a good thing. Previously forum Members opined he could be a good Centre.
I think we're good for backs now, assuming Taylan is done.Let's bring him back to WT. Back depth and players challenging for spots can only be a good thing. Previously forum Members opined he could be a good Centre.

What ? So you’re saying Luke is better ? Now I’m really confused by this comparison …..V Holmes drops the ball 3.timea a game so there's that

I'm glad Marshall and his staff select the teams because it is a difficult task. We need to look in our own backyard for answers and I hope Marshall works hard with Taateo. His ability to carry the ball forward is excellent and he'd be a player Bellamy would polish into a v/good player. Sam Fainu imo is a very good second row forward while Sukkar can learn his trade coming off the bench or starting when needed. May has only played 8 games at centre and I'd suggest he may be good competition for a wing spot along with Skelton and Staines. My 2026 dream team

He is OK. First min or so on the field he left a huge gap for the Bulldogs backrower to score. He is on par with Kit for mine. That’s nothing to write home about.Peter Taateo provided great impact yesterday in the NSW Cup with some strong running. He is a former Penrith junior.
He should be playing on the wing with his size and supposed speed. Centres these days need the ability to get outside their men or cut in through a tight hole. Doueihi can do neither. I’d prefer Gagai.Doueihi defended well and he also kicks goals. The recovery from a serious knee injury is not immediate and I previously posted you will not see the best of him until later in the year. In one game earlier in the year, he did demonstrate excellent pace over long distance. He was also opposite Tago and To'o two very experienced and premiership winning outside backs.
He needs polish but Bellamy would give him a typical makeover to become a good NRL prop. Kit Lauli'i struggled tackling the bigger forwards. Rahme played well and I hope he continues to improve. He is OK. First min or so on the field he left a huge gap for the Bulldogs backrower to score. He is on par with Kit for mine. That’s nothing to write home about.
