Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I agree. Said it another thread...
He could play a Kurt Mann type role for us.

I watched the highlights of the game the other day and he's quite slim at the moment though.
Would need to pack some muscle on.

I think he is a good depth / cup player and could fill in, for first grade when necessary.
In his last season at Penrith that was his role. I remember he played a trial vs us in 2020 where we actually had Terrell play with us and Tyrone came off the bench and just teared us apart with his leg speed. Was bigger then and noticeable too as he had bleached blonde hair.
Looked very much like the way Walker plays currently. Dylan that is.

One more fully fledged first grader and I think we have our squad complete.

It's got to be a forward. Just can't decide on Prop or a versatile backrower. Whoever it is needs to provide impact.
We need a lock now. It’s a position that has changed a lot over the years and it seems to be utilised differently in different teams.
I’d love us to have a dynamic 13. Someone who would elevate our pack and really impact go-forward.
Like a Brad Clyde.
Not asking much 😊

I would have a slimmer T May play there for the first 20-30. Move to Prop with Sione going to the bench and bring on Latu to lock for most of the remainder of the game. Just thinking we didn’t bring Kit into the game at all because we would have needed to use 2 interchanges. We brought Latu back into the game instead and it almost came off.
I feel Benji is warming up to name a utility on the Bench as a just in case for the whole 80 and to play with only 3 reserves if the game plays out as normal.

I think WT should go all out for Spencer Leniu. Impact prop, only 24 years old, Samoan, played with the ex Penrith boys, doesn't seem to fit in with Latte Criwd at the Chooks. He along with Pearce-Paul and May would make our team top 8. Also like the idea of signing Hassett from Penrith.
Can we move on Tumeth, Matamua, Feledy, etc before the 30th June and use money to extend Terrill May, Bula and other quality players.
I like AD like most forum members but he is a real weakness at Centre.
I also wouldn't mind see if Junior Tupou want to return from the Dolphins. Only played 3 games and seems out of favour. I know his hands let him down but only 22 years old and has attributes to make a decent NRL player. We need depth plus competition for spots.

Doueihi defended well and he also kicks goals. The recovery from a serious knee injury is not immediate and I previously posted you will not see the best of him until later in the year. In one game earlier in the year, he did demonstrate excellent pace over long distance. He was also opposite Tago and To'o two very experienced and premiership winning outside backs.

I'm glad Marshall and his staff select the teams because it is a difficult task. We need to look in our own backyard for answers and I hope Marshall works hard with Taateo. His ability to carry the ball forward is excellent and he'd be a player Bellamy would polish into a v/good player. Sam Fainu imo is a very good second row forward while Sukkar can learn his trade coming off the bench or starting when needed. May has only played 8 games at centre and I'd suggest he may be good competition for a wing spot along with Skelton and Staines.
