Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

What do he

It’s all about his hamstrings,
Defending in the middle means less sideway movements basically forward and back only in a line,
Defending as a half is wider out and the sweeping attack play from the opposing fullbacks means for more quicker movements on your legs which in turn puts pressure on those hamstrings.
Surely people can see that they are trying to reduce the possibility of another hamstring injury occurring which will be beneficial to both the team and the supporters.
Not at all, it's about Benji's ego, not what is good for the kid. Also defence in the middle is 100 % about lateral movement.... With big bodies like Payne Hass and Cariggian, Tino , Fisher Harris and so on and so running at full pace .... Strang place to put someone to reduce their work load ......

Interesting that I am not the only one that thinks Benji’s ego is out of control.

How’s Benji’s Ego
Got anything to do with where Fainu defends ?

We obviously disagree on this one.

That my whole point.

He isn't at lock to reduce his work load .... He is there because Benji is fixated in turning the best half in the club into a ball playing lock .....

I like it but taking the person Cobbo replaces at the Dolphins instead of having a red hot crack at Cobbo himself is very Tigers.

Tyrell Sloan free to look at options.

I know he still has a lot to learn defensively but is NRL quality and is still young.

Sloan to fullback
Bula to left centre
To’a right centre

Bula to bulk up in offseason
Would improve our backline speed immensely.
Think we might have regrets if we signed Sloane!

The great Russell "Spider" "Flight" Mullins has passed away.
A sad day for any Magpie that had the pleasure of sitting on the Lidcombe hill watching Russell fly through the air to take a short kick off and score the winning try.

R.I.P Russell.
Thanks for that. Sad news. Yep I sure remember him in the 70's Magpies- his brother Bill was also a damn good winger for Easts.
