I would have thought TDS may have been a game breaker as opposed to a tiring API, not being critical of your opinion because it has now passed and we will never know what may or may not have been.

One thing I will say though, is that at times Benji's selection and use of the bench is baffling and I don't think anyone can dispute that.

I feel like we are always linked with players who are a bit moody ... some days they’re switched on and can be brilliant, but other times they just don’t show up. Personally, I would prefer we target players who are more consistent.

When we were giving API a rest and giving Talyn decent game time we were winning a lot more games than we have when playing API for the full 80mins, true or false ?
When Talyn was getting decent game time, he was coming on the field and making a positive influence, true or false ?
So if something was working, then you change it and it’s not working, would you not think maybe I should go back to what was working ?

You can only surmise that the kid is on the way out, but why the hell select him on the bench then?

Can we recruit the best scouts please? It feels like this is the area we are lacking. The roosters have just signed Canberra's best scout. We should look in the chook pen for any disgruntled scouts.

Look at all the roosters rookies this year, they're all nrl ready.

We need to be better at identifying talent.

Watching both these sides also being spoon contenders, I can say comfortably we are worse than both. We play titans twice and I think we lose both times. Funnily enough it is probably our only 'winnable' game for the rest of the year. No dragons, eels, knights, to play anymore. Four wooden spoons lock it in under Benji.

There is always Manly this week, but noises coming out of Manly, Turbo not happy and picked at centre, Seibold under pressure etc.

They are there for the taking but historically this is one of those games we should win but historically never do. 😡

We have 2 games to prove it. If we can't beat them we probably deserve the spoon. We have a weird run home including Manly and Titans twice. We should get some wins there.

We are waiting for someone to fall out with the current employer and break contract I think. Hoping a T May falls out of another tree?

It would be our usual form to sign a player with a permanent injury from the fall that never sees any game time.

manly is no joke a must win game. turbo will be in centres I’m guessing To’a will be marking him so he needs to have a big game.

I agree with your concept of having great recruiting, but we’ve had good scouts, players, admin personnel etc in the past and failed to capitalise on their skills for any consistent length of time.
The club needs a more holistic approach.
We can’t have harmonic motion on the field if it doesn’t exist in the boardrooms. If we want the best people in their field to gravitate to the club we need to be displaying consistent improvement in all areas.

While it’s great they want him, how much are they willing to pay for him is the question.
I’d be willing to bet they do not offer any more than 250k and that would mean we are stuck contributing the other 250k towards his 500k co tract that we signed him to.
Not ideal, but it could be worse.

They can have him at full freight for 2 years. 🤣 🤞

We'll even throw Royce in.
