Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Mason was bad but he's not ready and he should never have been picked.

You're right about Api, but Tallyn's service was horrible.

We were thrown a curveball by Luai pulling out so late, but almost every decision Benji made around the starting side turned out to be the wrong one.

Api to half => mistake
Mason back in the team instead of Staines => mistake
Tallyn to start given he was about to leave => mistake
Laulilli on the bench => arguable - worked out okay when Skelton went off but I still believe Staines would have been a safer option

You could say hindsight is 20/20 but a lot of people were saying this before the game. The only positive was that he eventually realised his mistakes.

Laulilli in the centres this week will be the latest mistake.
Can you please explain this to Benji or Richo or both of them ?

Cos of injuries. Someone posted last night that once Marshall black balls you there is no going back. And that attitude certainly fits the way the TDS situation played out.
Or TDS was one of our worst players against the storm and Benji decided it was time to let him learn more of his craft in KOE as he is only 20 and has areas of his game to work on .. but yeah keep spinning your crap

Your speculation is no more credible than mine.

So we sack the coach after we let 2 promising juniors go?
I'd be putting Api's contrac talks of until next year if this is the case.

Gee this forum needs some other contributors atm.
Currently its just a reflection of where the season is at - grim.

Unfortunately the constructive and interesting comments are just getting drowned out at the moment by a couple of people posting the same things over and over.

A win tends to change things. Not sure where we get one though? Gold Coast at Leichhardt is shaping as "must win".

Seyfarth was actually offered a contract at the Broncos but was told he wouldn't be in the top 17 and the Bulldogs were interested till Benji told him he wanted to keep him.
And he is on 400k
Warriors were very interested and got close to getting him
Da Silva wanted a first grade guarantee and big money (now on $650k+ at Parra).
Sounds like a big headed kid with pushy parents.
Remind you of anyone?
I think his manager has fielded some good offers and a very good chance of being the no1 rake, so I guess most young players would do the same. A bird in hand is worth two in the bush

We have two games before that are nearing must win. Lose the next 3 though, this place won’t be pretty.
